Big Mouth

I've been going to Big Mouth Cafe for years and it's one of the places that survived and thrived during much of lockdown and more. I used to go there all the time (when I was based at WeWork Pyrmont) and these days I barely get there. However, I went there today after at least 18 months and it was better than I remember (and it was good then). Fair prices, beautiful fresh bread, well made, foiled perfectly and the staff are just wonderful (and the same group of winners I do remember). Even though I don't get to Pyrmont that much anymore, I think I will try to make some special trips there. LOVE THEIR WORK!

The place is fairly priced with a modest selection. It is not often you find a restaurant focusing so hard on jaffles so it is a nice change of pace. I ordered a sweet chilli tuna jaffle with thin cut fries and a bottle of water. Overall the food was average but hit the spot on a more miserable day. There is an outdoor area in the back which seems to be missed by most of the customers eating here which means an easier time finding seating, even in peak time. If you're looking for something to break up your daily lunch break routine, give it a shot.

Staff are friendly and they put together a really high quality wrap every time I've been there. You can select exactly what you want each time on a piece of paper and they'll make it for you! Can get quite busy at lunch time, and they make it fresh, so there's often a bit of a wait but I think it's worth it for nice and fresh wraps! Their burgers are nice too!
