Perpetual Espresso Bar

A hidden gem of a cafe. Perpetual Espresso bar is an undiscovered early or late night haven for coffee lovers. This cafe has the boutique roaster, Grace & Taylor, beans as their house blend. However, the library of rare and exclusive beans goes well beyond that with the owner, Nate, having up to 10 individual small batch roasts of his current favourites on hand at all times. Nate is extremely friendly and open for a chat about anything, his passions lies within watches, which is the theme of this cafe, from the horological historical books at the front of the shop to the very steam-punk aesthetic. Come here for a really delicious quick and cheap morning coffee, to geek out about coffee and watches or for a longer chill and study session whilst enjoying one of Nate's great filter coffees.

Awesome find in the city. Barista got very excited when I asked if he could do pour over. He talked me through the bean options, sat me down and then chatted about his clear passion for good quality coffee. The resulting brew was excellent. He then mixed it up by introducing me to having yellow tea as a palate lifter in between coffee sips! An amazing experience and totally unexpected. And he only charged $7!! Highly recommended. P.s. make sure you ask about his custom machine fit out.
