The battered fish and chips here is the best. After eating fish and chips here, I never feel sick due to the food being too oily unlike most other places. The batter is thin and crispy, fish is juicy and chips have the perfect amount of crunch. Please don't change your fish and chips cooking technique Poseidon's Harvest. Will keep coming back for more!

I have eaten here 4 times and it has been decent fish and chips. My friend said her calamari was very good. They can be very slow cooking your order which isn’t too bad if it’s only you, but if there are few waiting it seems to take a very long time. If I don’t have the time to wait, I don’t order anything here, and go grab something elsewhere.

Normally the quality of the food at Poseidons Harvest is awesome. So I don't know what was wrong tonight. Maybe a different cook or ordering too late in the day (I ordered 30 minutes before closing time). Whatever the case, my experience was bad. I had the battered fish and chips. The fish was overcooked and dried out and the chips were soggy and tasted of old stale oil. Yuck!!!!

It used to be such a great fish & chips place but the quality of the fish and customer service declined dramatically. Please never choose the Barramundi grilled fish as they will serve you Basa grilled fish and guarantee you it is definitely barramundi!!! It happened to me twice and each time I went back and told the staff. It is so disappointing for a fish market to rob customers like that. Plus, the price has increased and the quality has dropped. I used to go every week but now I wouldn’t go until things change.

Poseidon doesn’t harvest very good sea food Not sure if the quality of fish and chips is just rubbish in Sydney or if this shop in itself just does not know what fish is meant to be like? Either way when getting fish and chips I would like my fish, even when fried, to taste like fish as well as look like it’s got some colour and depth to it This looked half see through because (I suspect) it’s been deep frozen for just way too long I could almost throw a rock into the ocean from here, we can do very decent fish and chips 100s of kms inland in vic Why not here?

Horrible. Staff were quick to take order but I had to repeat it and I could barely understand her. Potato scallops were so thin all I could taste was fishy oil. First fish cocktail was so oily BP were screaming denial, the second could be carved down and used as a squash ball it was so rubbery. Lastly, my beloved pineapple fritter. No pineapple taste at all, just more fishy oil taste. Will not be back ever.
