Hong Kong Delight

I started my roast Peking Duck experience 4 years ago, Since then I almost tried a lot of duck menu around Sydney. I found this place had amazing duck menu. After COVID I revisited this place couple of time. A lot has changed specially the taste and increase in price. I am sad to say I paid my last due visit today. Customer Service : 0/5 Food Taste: 2/5 Price: Moderately Expensive I hope to see some improvement when steps misguide me again to this place.

Food is ok. But the service is terrible. I understand it is a take away store, service shouldn't play such a big role. But when 2 women from the store yelled at me from behind the counter for me to pay for my order so they can serve the next customer made my blood boil. They did not give me the food nor told me how much it is, They simply yelled across the counter in their hush tone. I just stood there thinking what's going on? You didn't even tell me how much it is before demanding for my money..What kind of food store is this? I won't be visiting again!!

Low quality ingrediants and very stingy servings. The fried tofu and pork belly was pathetic, the pork belly was probably offcuts from what was left over and contained 90% fat. The beef brisket was substitued with heaps of raddish now and the lady server has probably the worst attitude of any worker I have seen. She is abrupt and never fills up your container even when you pay extra!!! This place deserves to go out of business!

This is my absolute favourite takeaway shop. The food is always both delicious and beautifully presented, especially the roast duck, BBQ pork, roast pork and salt and pepper pork. The portion sizes are large as well. Servers are polite and always ready to help. The shop is extremely clean. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Hurstville. We are so fortunate to have this place next to Hurstville Station. Very convenient!!!

I'm surprised that I am the first person to submit a review here for this popular place! Located conveniently next to platforms to Hurstville station, this place is great for commuters to stop on the way home to buy something for dinner. We tried the roast duck here for the first time today and this place is just as good as the other famous roast duck shop in nearby Campsie. The meat was very tender, not too fatty and the flavour is just right (compared to some other Chinese duck places where they use too much Five Spice in the marinade). This place is certainly a delight and lives up to their name.

Good food but terrible customer service, the lady with a pixie cut spoke with a very harsh tone especially if you order something they can’t do. They are very courteous with their Chinese customers, I spoke in English despite knowing Chinese because it was more convenient. Literally the worst customer service I have encountered. In addition their portions have shrieked since last I bought from there, I understand inflation and all but I’d rather increase price than decrease portions.
