Went to the pub. The food was surprisingly cheap. Got a chicken schnitzel with chips and vegetables. They gave two large schnitzels with gravy, more chips with what you can do with. It was only $10.

My favourite pub in the world. I've been drinking there now for close to 30 yrs. It's slowed a little due to Kings Cross not being the same anymore but that might be a good thing

The new manager and his side kick woman are the most polite rude people and show no compassion when a long term local visitor to this establishment ( me ) got escorted out because I could not pull up on my ph or show the paper work showing I had 2 jabs.
And I had already signed in with my QR code
I had been going there most days lately but he picked on me today.
I hear he doesn't like noise either as he kicked out a female friend of mine...for having her phone playing music to loud.
He and the woman are not for the role they are in,they should be pouring drinks and the very nice helpful bar staff should be management.
No wonder it's mostly empty,all the time.

The Vegas Hotel is a Pub, not a Residential Hotel. A friend & I went there to watch a Specific NRL Game on Cable TV while drinking afew Beers. The Vegas Staff don't mind Non Alcohol Drinkers on site.

Great place to kick back in the centre of King's Cross or to watch a game on the big screen or just to play the Pokies

Some where I go for a lonely schooner. Type of place you stare at your glass until it's empty. Most folk in there doing the same. Melancholy
