Sushido - Tacoma

We had a wonderful experience Friday, 5/14/22. I appreciated our server, I didn’t get his name, but he was very polite and very attentive— which is hard to come by these days. The woman who helped us I think might be a manager, and she’s always been pleasant too. She has a great attitude and it’s so nice to have an experience where people enjoy what they do! It translates into everything. The plating was stunning. The fish was fresh and everything was so flavorful. They don’t rush the food, so if you put in a large sushi order be prepared to wait a bit. It is well worth it. I appreciate the attention to detail and quality that goes into the preparation of each roll. The appetizers came out very well timed. We sat at the second booth from the door and were able to see the sushi bar. It was nice to see the sushi chefs at work. Music was perfect volume and upbeat. It’s a very hip and trendy vibe. I love the edible flowers! My son ate them all. Just a really great experience overall!

The wait staff is super polite and chill. The atmosphere is relaxing and casual. The food is a'mAzing!! amazing!!! I would give them 15 stars if I could. The only downside is that all other sushi joints will seem underwhelming after you eat here. If you like Unagi, get Joe's roll! Can't decide on an app? The avocado bomb is cray good.

I've been in to Sushido a handful of times, and every dine-in experience was fantastic. I know with delivery apps, it can be a bit different. I've had quite a few different deliveries gone bad, but the restaurants themselves are fantastic if you dine-in. Sushido is the only sushi place I've found in Tacoma that is consistent throughout. It's so beautifully packaged and somehow stays hot and crispy. Only sushi place I'll order from going forward.

5 stars. I’d give it 20 stars if I could. The sushi was that good. I’m from Vancouver (sushi capital of the west coast?) and I’ve eaten at sushi places that were 200 bucks a head. Sushido quality and presentation would give those guys a run for their money. No joke. The outside looks like any strip mall establishment and the inside is a wee bit dark, but the food will blow your mind. Prices reflect the quality. This plate below was ~50usd but the presentation was masterful and the taste.. its like nigri from a Michelin star restaurant in Tokyo.
