Evergreen Cafe

I simply ordered 2 croissants and 2 frappes and it took over and hour for them to then give me 2 croissants cut in half and burnt. Like I just wanted a plain croissant I’m genuinely confused. The frappes were ok but I’d suggest ordering in person rather than delivery cause they don’t answer their phone so you can’t clear up the situation. My delivery driver, bless her heart, said they were going to give me croissant sandwiches and when she told them, “no she just wants a plain croissant” I think they fr just gave me the toasted croissants they were going to use on the sandwiches instead of giving me a fresh soft normal croissant. Like it’s not my fault you read my order wrong.

They don't abide by their hours. I was there 5 minutes after their opening time. Doors were locked and the worker inside just ignored me. And these were their adjusted hours. They have one sign that said they open at 515. The other said 630 temporarily. I was there at 635. Lady inside just blew me off. Coffee might be ok, but I wouldn't expect timeliness or any sort of respect for you as a customer.

Very casual, counter service, not a lot of seating. Decent food, but they got our order so terribly wrong... I'll have to come back and try out again before I can consider giving it another star. The counter person got something wrong on every single plate, 4 out of 4! Omitted ingredients on 2 orders, wrong bread on a sandwich and completely wrong item on the last. We did not complain as we had an older dining partner who would have gotten upset if we didn't eat right away.

Love the location, the small pizzas are good. They make everything to order. Unfortunately some of the girls aren't experienced in food service and the food suffers. I don't believe it's ever good to serve a salad with yellow wilty leaves, or green slimy leaves. There really needs to be more eye for detail and taking more pride in what you serve. Unfortunately this has happened more than once. The menu is amazing, the people making the food need training on food preparation. The servers are very friendly.

I have been here a couple of times and most times left satisfied, their food is always good and it's more modern. What I don't like is wait time to be seated, and the customer service. On top of that they have tables that have rips. Also they need more staff. Overall it's a good place and I would recommend it.

I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately, wish I had gone somewhere else about 10 seconds after walking in. It was 2 hours before they closed but it felt like the ladies working wanted to clean-up and leave, and therefore weren't welcoming or appreciative of my business. Working in a cafe can be really challenging and tiring. Rude customers can make it really difficult to feel happy at times. I hope the ladies here know that most customers are on their side and want to see them make good money and be respected. However, I won't be choosing this cafe again for some time because of feeling unwelcome.

Friend had subpar experiences here, and voiced it in reviews. The owners responded with a very rude, and very personal reply. And then threatened to tell the manager of where she worked? Not professional at all. Would not recommend. Edit: The reply to this, calling a potential customer classless? Doesn't speak well for them either.
