Good food for a very reasonable price! Not too much, but also not too little. Got chicken and pork bao, wontons and deep fried shrimp. The wontons were by far the best of the four, but all were very tasty!

First time visiting this lovely little restaurant, the food we ordered were very delicious and hit my personal perfect ratio of a filling portion.
The Bao was extremely savoury and just melted in my mouth with every bite. Wontons were also delicious (don’t forget to blow)
Last but not least, the fried prawn with sauce! Ate it last after the Bao and wontons and definitely contributed to fulfilling our appetite.
Thank you to the friendly staff who served my partner and I~ will definitely return the next time we travel to takapuna 😋

I went there on the night of the 17th March around 8:30pm after a long day at work. Their kitchen was closed but their staff decided to feed a poor construction worker after a whole day on site.
I love their loaded fries, but after Newmarket branch change their recipe I was a bit unsure.
I explained the all thing to him and he prepared the best loaded fries ever!!! It was so yummy and customer service was great!!
Truly recommend everybody to try it!!!

Really enjoyable meal. Friendly prompt service. Food is very tasty. Had the pork belly bao, tofu bao, prawn bao, money bags and the wok this way (chicken & vege noodle dish).
Enjoyed every single dish, the prawn bao had some nice spice to it. Washed it all down with a mojito cocktail which had a strong taste of rum to it which was great. Looking forward to going back again!

Service was quick and pleasant. Menu explained and we ordered. Food came quick and it was very tasty and enjoyed by all. Pork belly and Prawns were good. Good portions sizes for the price. Happy.

Last monday i went tucks and bao in takapuna branch with my friends. It was my first visit and i really impressed from the ambiance and specially food. We ordered onions rings, belly bao, gangnam slaw with chicken and miss piggy, and we really got quick service. The belly was so crispy from outside and juicy from inside marinated in the amazing sauce and so much filling also the onion rings were really amazing and delicious, i never had this much good onion rings earlier, Gangnam slaw was so juicy and chicken was really juicy. I personally thanked to the chef and friendly staff. I will come again and recommend to my friends as well.

Delicious GF onion rings and pulled pork loaded chips. The pork belly bao was tasty but nothing special, especially for the price ($9), and the food service was slow - although the waitress was friendly and helpful and I got the impression it might not be the norm for it to be slow.
