Secret Garden

Either eating in or getting our order to go, Secret Garden is a staple of our work lunch jaunts. My boyfriend is a super salad kind of guy so from the fact that he could literally go here every single day for the salad bar is a pretty good barometer for how fresh and good the food is. The food is good the people are great, it's just an all around win.

I read other reviews before I checked this place out so I was prepared when I arrived. I grabbed a to go container and put together a decent sized salad with lettuce, crab salad, veggies, and those amazing Asian noodles. I paid around $6 and it was plenty to keep me full until dinner time. The food was very fresh and the people there were nice. I'll be returning for more quick fresh lunch salads.

Out of the way, small, but effecient lunch spot for the downtown crowd. Beautiful, complete, and clean salad bar, including a selection of sushi. This is a pay by weight place, cash only. It is a very inexpensive, yet high quality. Other reviewers have said there is a lack of meat/protein, but I have not found that to be the case; there is chicken salad, tuna salad, ham, cheeses, and various other proteins. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Great Place for a quick salad! My husband and I have been meeting here to grab our lunch to go for several months. It's cheap, easy, fast and fresh. Basically you walk in and either pick up a to go container or plate with a tray and start picking out what you want. They have romaine lettuce freshly cut and separated into light and dark greens. You can then get some pasta salad, potatoes salad or chopped tuna or chicken. If you arrive after 11:30 the sushi California rolls will be ready and you can grab some of those. There are a tons of veggies at the veggie portion and the are pretty consistent with daily stock. They also have sliced ham or turkey to add. You have a choice between six different salad dressings and you can finish with nuts & raisins. At the very end by the registered there is some tasty Korean noodles (must try, trust me) and daily soup. Everything is weighed so if you load a lot of heavy food you will pay more than if you keep it light. They also have a variety of refreshments you can grab. Keep in mind this is more of a grab and go place not a fine dining experience. It's great for all those people who only have a 30 min lunch and need something fast and fresh!
