Dragon Palace

A great night of feasting on the delightful dishes served up by the Dragon Palace, Entrees were superb, Mini Spring Rolls, Dim Sims & Prawn Toast all were accompanied by Sweet n Sour Sauce. This was the perfect beginning to my night. My Main was the hot & delightful Mongolian Lamb on a sizzle plate. The Lamb was cooked to perfection, the Mongolian Sauce was plentiful. The Special Fried Rice was amazing with generous amounts of Prawns, Chicken & Pork. I was impressed by the quality and quantity of food served. P.S I had leftovers to take home in a container. Yum, Yum!

Food quality: the food quality is good and fresh and taste like genuine Chinese restaurant. The price is decent Dining environment: dining environment is clean and modern. Restaurant designed with full of Chinese element. Service level: service is outstanding, service person is well presented and service with genuine welcoming attitude. We didn’t have a booking and the restaurant were busy at the time, but we have been given a table after not long waiting, very appreciated. Overall experience: very happy and satisfied, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone

Probably the best Chinese Ive had! The Supreme Deluxe Hot Pot was really nice, it had generous quantities of seafood and the sauce was delicious. The special fried rice was also excellent, not greasy at all and also had lots of large prawns. The person taking my take away order was very polite and they had the meal ready within 15 minutes as promised. I highly recommend trying them whether you are a local or in the area for work like me.

The Dragon Palace Tamworth is a fantastic place to enjoy a very satisfying family meal, the service is exceptional. Once I deciphered the menu, like a code breaker on roids, I got my head around what was in each dish, there was that many to choose from. The decor is fitting for fine Chinese dining. I had prawn toast and spring rolls as an entree. OMG, tantalising the taste buds +++. For first course I ordered the steemed duck with mushroom sauce, the duck perfectly prepared as it just pleasantly dissolved into a velvet morsel with the true taste of original wild cooked Chinese duck lathered in a sweet mushroom thick sauce. Second course was the supreme hot pot. This dish it the bomb, a sizzling mixture of all meats and seasonal vegetables. The layered flavours and combined with its aroma drew you in for more till there was nothing left, I even considered licking the bowl if it wasn't for fear of burning my tongue, that's right folks, it was that good. Mind you, this was all with a side of special fried rice, and yes, with full sized prawns, lots, and I mean lots of them. Well, after an awesome feast. I couldn't fit dessert in, I was tank topped full. What a great place to dine. For the meal I score you 10 /10 Critic: Garth

The food was good, the people was even better. Our car accidentally got locked in a private car park next door, the owner of Dragon Palace not only help us to contact the car park, but also drive us to the hotel! How kind! Will definitely recommend it to everyone who visit Tamworth. Best food, best people.

Will have to review my ratings as this place is a 6 star. Even though we only had 4 dishes they where beautiful, we have tried Chinese all around Australia and this place is up there with the best. Will be back to try other dishes another day hopefully. Plus the only place that at the end of a meal that we received warm towels to clean our hands. Cheers

We had the best experience at Dragon Palace; we were simply fascinated at the entrance itself, though we didn’t have reservations, the staff quickly made sure we were being looked after, we got a table within a minute. The decor of this place is unbelievable, even the bathrooms and the setup is great, and impeccably clean. An absolutely warm place to dine in; our serving staff were polite, smiling and ever courteous and thoroughly professional. The food was fresh, delicious and had generous serving. Impressed with everything here; a must try if you are in Tamworth!! Special mention to our lovely ladies who served us especially Sam and Rebecca, you are an asset to your workplace. Thanks everyone for allowing us to make beautiful memories at Dragon Palace.
