Journey's End

We were on our way to Journeys End for Lunch in Temecula, I happened to call the Restaurant because I had a question and during the conversation they told me that they had closed early, this was at 1:30. No explanation, no I'm sorry. It's a good thing we live near by and know the area so we went somewhere else. I'm curious if this happens frequently here because the person I spoke to on the phone acted like it was no big deal.

I waited 2 years for Covid to be over so I could enjoy the Mother's Day buffet at Journey's End. It was so disappointing I won't be back...ever. The prices were higher than in previous years, which I expected however, what I did not expect was the drastic change in the food quality. The King Crab legs were tiny, I used to rave about those to everyone, in fact it was my reason for going year after year. The prime rib was excessively salty, almost like an over salted pot roast. I could have delt with that even with the $74 per person price, but the last straw was when they added an 18% gratuity to a party of 3 at a buffet where you serve yourself. Yes this past Mother's Day was definitely the end of my journey with this place. Of all the cheap lousey ways to make a buck!
