Rubio's Coastal Grill

Couldn't eat here because they were not willing to break $100 bill which is all I had aside from some pocket change. I understand if it was at the start of the business day but after 5:30ish which is the time I went...your day is pretty close to being over. It's not going to break you to take the bill so that I may eat. I'm aware that some stores policy is to have a posted sign informing customers the largest bill they're willing to accept. I saw no such sign posted. Oh well. Oh and another thing, I was going to purchase a regular drink since I did have some change on me but when she told me it'd be $3 and some change I nearly p****d myself. That's BEYOND ridiculous for what is no more than a 20oz cup. WOW!!

The food is generally very tasty at this location of the expansive Rubio's franchise. I really like that the flavors are sophisticated with usually two sauces on the tacos. Plus other tasty elements to compliment the main protein. The Gourmet Grilled Shrimp Taco is especially good. On the other hand, the Original Fish Taco I had yesterday wasn't great because the beer-battered coating was completely soggy. And I ate it within 5 minutes of it arriving on the table so I'm stumped. Maybe serve this with the sauces on the side? I'll probably stick with the grilled selections only in future, especially because they're so good. The food is not cheap for the quantity you get. Otherwise, the place is very clean and the staff is courteous and helpful.

I ordered 2 "classic shrimp burritos" tonight and I was just so disappointed. The name "classic shrimp" is implied that there's shrimp in this burrito right?? especially if this burrito is 11 bucks! The ingredients are shrimp, salsa Fresca, rice, beans and Chipotle sauce. There was literally 2 freakin shrimp in this burrito, one on the top and one on the bottom!! I couldn't believe it! Not only that but there was a tiny bit of Chipotle sauce on the very bottom. I will NEVER buy from here again. This is the 4th time this has happened. I spent 11 dollars on a rice and bean burrito at rubios in temecula. NEVER AGAIN.
