Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

BOMB!!! It was the first time coming here after a family recommendation and let me tell you it did not disappoint. This location is very spacious! Like seriously. It’s huge. The kitchen is large too and it’s nice to see the process. The food was great quality!! The lettuce was so crisp and fresh! The poco was on point! I ended up getting the Quesadilla with Sweet Pork Barbacoa as my meat. My husband got the Shredded beef. The Sweet Pork Barbacoa is the way to go. You won’t regret it at all!! My husband was so upset with himself he didn’t get the Sweet Pork Barbacoa. I got the habanero salsa, which was not spicy at all. And make sure to get a side of Tomatillo Ranch. It’s bomb on everything!! We had great customer service from Carlos there. He recommended the Sweet Pork Barbacoa and the Keylime pie. He came over to our table and asked if there was anything we needed or if he could take our plates if we were done. Truly. Great experience cause of him. Thanks Carlos!

I have eaten at Cafe Rio in the past and had only the freshest ingredients, but not tonight! This was my wife’s first time eating here, but we will not be ordering here again. We ordered food to go & the rice tasted like it had been left out all day, very hard & crunchy. Not fun to bite into when your expecting soft, delicious rice, like usual. The tortillas tasted old & everything was cold. We were told our order would be ready around 5:40, my wife picked up the food at 5:45 & it was cold. Very upsetting.

If I could give this a zero I would. Customer service was horrible. Salsa and guacamole looked old and tasted old. I ordered a quesadilla and when I got to the table there was a hair on it. On top of that the employee was in the restroom the same time I was there. there was no soap so she didn’t even wash her hands. Overall wouldn’t go again.
