Fast service, even in the morning when the line was ALMOST out the door. The 2 hours or so I was there, the line didnt get to that point, even though people just kept going in. Smelled good since bagels are baked in house

I love the energy of the place, very relaxing and chill. $4 for handmade bagels is affordable to me. It tasted so good. The best bagel I have had in Arizona.

When I moved back to Arizona from NYC I struggled to find a good place for bagels until someone recommended Back East Bagels. Their bagel sandwiches are the best. Thank you Brianna for your incredible customer service!

I recently got some bagels at this bagel shop early in the morning and was completely blown away by the quality and taste of their bagels. Usually I got later in the day when the bagels had a few hours of sitting.
The bagels were deliciously soft and chewy with tons of cream cheese. The variety of flavors they offer is pretty cool, ranging from classic to more unique and flavorful options.
The service at this bagel shop was fast and friendly. Overall, I was happy and recommend going early in the morning.

A small bagel cafe in a shopping center. A nice big menu on the wall with the bagels full on display. I gave it 4 only because they were out of everything bagels but tried my next favorite, the cheese bagel. Bagels are light and a good ratio of ingredients (I got the bacon, egg and cheese with mayo). Latte was good but not as hot as I’d like. The place has a nice local feel and the service was exceptional. I’ll be back!

Aptly named real deal East Coast bagel joint in Tempe.
Bagels were crispy outside, chewy inside. Just like they're supposed to be. Liberally doused with flavorings (I had Everything).
A welcome surprise in the desert southwest.

I enjoy this place. It's a little overpriced for the portions, but I'm a small eater and the quality is solid. I enjoy the spicier bagels like the August but their Green Chilli Cheddar and their Pepper Jack are very solid. Usually a very chill location but lately has had pretty long lines.

Nothing fancy. Just great East Coast style bagels, bagel sandwiches, etc. The bagels are really tasty, boiled, with that soft and crunchy combo. Top an everything or cheese with the plentiful cream cheese and your morning is off to a good start. Great coffee too - a go to that I use for pour over coffee at home.
While you wait, look at the wall made with license plates from all over the country.
