Service a bit hit and miss. But awesome food. If you set in the beer garden, which, as a view of the River Dart BEWARE of the greedy Seagulls. You have been warned ⚠️

Popped in on Friday evening, perfect quiet location. Menu has some great offerings and all seemingly reasonable until you get your food delivered to your table then realise the food is an absolute bargain. My half lobster and chips was just fantastic and delivered by helpful smiley staff. Fantastic place and I couldn't recommend it more highly

Situated next to the river, this place is always going to be popular. Arrive early for breakfast treats. A couple of ales are served.

Really lovely bistro by the river. Really attentive and friendly staff and great food. I had the tagine, my husband had a pizza and daughter had kids pasta......... we all finished every scrap! Husband said best pizza ever! Highly recommend 👌

The food and atmosphere were lovely, but what really stood out to me was the service. Every member of staff was so friendly, but especially the main waiter. He was very kind and accommodated my needs as an autistic person perfectly. I find it hard to go out sometimes because of my disability but he really made me feel welcome and worked with my additional needs

Had a lovely family meal here to finish our holiday in Devon. The man who looked after us (maybe the owner?) was lovely and he made us all feel very welcome and made the kids laugh.
Good service and knowledge regarding gluten free/coeliac too.

I've got to say this is one of the best places to eat in the whole of Devon- and that's coming from me, a teenager! The food was absolutely delicious ( try the pizza or chicken burger ) and the service was great too! Overall the staff were really nice and it was a great experience!

Came to enjoy lunch on a Sunday, decided upon not going for the traditional Sunday roast and instead having the Game pie - winner
Properly cooked vegetables, really enjoyable game pie, couple of new potatoes (but enough to fill up yourself) plus an amazing gravy, pudding next.
Do come and enjoy the wonderful food here on offer alongside the very pleasant staff here to help your ever need.
5*'s mean the premises would have to be exceptionally good, 4*'s is saying something positive.
