The Capital Grille

We had a company event at this place and everything went really well. The process of reserving a room was easy and they had the room ready right at the time we wanted. The staff were friendly and our server was a really nice lady. The food was really good, we got the $95 per person menu and it was amazing. Their appetizer and desserts were delicious. I ordered a fillet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend it.

So we visited the Capital Grille, the restaurant ambiance and feel is that of a upper end restaurant. Everything was really good except one small problem was one of the stakes was overdone and the fish was rather cool instead of hot. I would have given it five stars if only one of our meals had an issue. One thing to note on the fish. Typically when restaurants bring fish the plate is usually warm. This plate was actually cold which meant it was most likely sitting for a while before it was served to us. I give props to the waiter as he took both meals back and brought two new ones but it was late and it added an extra 25 minutes to our visit. We will definitely return as the food was great and the atmosphere was really nice.

First time dining here and it did not disappoint. Wife's birthday dinner so they decorated the table and really made it a special night. Had Bacon with Tomato Jam, French Onion Soup, Puccini mushroom rubbed Ribeye and the Creamed Corn. Everything was delicious, especially that corn. Sneaky good! Manager even gave my wife a side of Creamed Corn to go as a birthday gift. Even though we were stuffed, they gave my wife a special birthday dessert free of charge. Very cool. Definitely will be back.
