Tikka Cafe can be termed as the Indian version of Chipotle with better taste and excellent customer service. The line was pretty long but I got to the counter extremely quickly. The menu had options of Rice bowls, Naan with curry, Choice of my favorite Kebabs, and Kathi Rolls reasonably priced around $8. This has been one of my best experience with Indian food so far.

Tikka Cafe is like a fly on the wall. A place you least expect a place like this. A very good looking Indian fast food in Chipotle format. Don't have to wait for food to be served. Options of Rice Bowl, Naan and Curry, Kati Rolls and Kebabs. Very reasonably priced: $7.95. Great customer service.

Fantastic! Ok... let me describe this place; its like a Chipotle type concept only with delicious Indian foods.
My wife & 2 1/2 year old boy both got lamb (it was surprisingly high quality meat) and I got the Chicken Rice bowl w/ Masala sauce; also excellent.
The lady and the owner (nice guy named Samir) brought us a free sample of the Mango smoothie. Had no intention of getting desert but we HAD to get it (I reasoned that it was healthy, so hey)!
This is the kind of place I could pull over and get lunch 2-3 times a week.

I love this restaurant!! The service is great and the food is fabulous!! It is very fresh and delicious. It tastes like homemade cooking!! The meats are tender and juicy and the vegetable toppings fresh!! The sauces are just right. I can't say enough good things about this place. Give it a try!! You won't be disappointed!! 🍽👍

Tikka Cafe is a boon for me considering the lack of healthy (and tasty) eating options in atlanta. Tikka Cafe with its amazing format of Rice bowls, curries, kebabs and kathi rolls has made me visit them multiple times in a short span of time.
Its an adorable Cafe style Indian restaurant. Its a first of its kind with its chipotle format which I am sure is going to be a huge hit
The food was simply delicious with my favorites being the Rice Bowl (chicken) and the Chicken Kathi Rolls. The pieces of Chicken are Soft and succulent and come with the right amount of onions and green mint chutney. The Rice Bowl is for those who love to eat food thats is like Mix-and Match !!
The customer service is very nice with polite servers and cashiers and I walked out with a satisfied stomach and a smile on my face.
Oh yes make sure you have the lentils chips and the Mango Smoothie !
Thanks guys. See you'll soon !

Good concept...bad execution. I drive by this place on my way to work, and stopped in today.
Most of my issues center around the staff experience. Staff seemed untrained, and many things on the menu were not actually available. At one point the person handling the front just left to go do something outside the store, while I was waiting on my food. In addition, while you can't see the person actually cooking the food (apparently samosas and paneer are cooked to order), I did glimpse that the guy preparing the food wasn't wearing gloves ,which made me very nervous. He also argued in front of me with the woman handling the front, which was weird. All around unprofessional.
Food itself tasted okay. I ordered a mango smoothie (aka lassi), some samosas, "spicy" naan, and a chicken bowl. The lassi and samosas tasted fine. Lassi came in a small-ish size plastic cup, and the samosas were decent sized.
The "spicy" naan was...strange. It smelled & looked like coffee grounds had been spread on top of the naan. After I scraped it off, it tasted like regular naan.
The chicken bowl was good. Chicken was well spiced, and tasted like tandoori chicken. Lamb and beef are also options, but are not flavored well, and simply taste like cooked meat. You have a few different options for rice, including plain white rice, brown rice, and saffron rice. I got the saffron rice, which was cooked fine, and flavored well. They have a choice of three curries, I got the tomato based one which tasted fine as well.
I would go back here in another few months to see if anything has changed. Considering the amazing caliber of restaurants in the general area (Buford Highway is only a few minutes away), and the terrible location of the restaurant, this restaurant cannot afford to be bad in any way.

The samosas were really tasty, the chicken with tikka sauce over saffron rice was also great! Build your own bowl/plate/naan wrap with various rice bases and veggie/protein adds. Unexpected concept in a gas station strip mall, but it really was good and reasonably priced.
