Whitt's Barbecue

Food is great. The ladies are wonderful. The gentleman working has much improvement to go with his customer service. My order was incorrect. It was fixed, but not without him telling me "The ticket said all the way!" When in fact it did not. The lady took my order, wrote it down and I repeated myself to her twice.

I had the pulled pork plate. The meat was very good. It came with 2 sides, I ordered the green beans and potato salad. It also comes with choice of bread or cornbread. I had the cornbread. This was my first visit to this bbq restaurant. I always try the potato salad wherever I go. I took it to go, I live about 15 min away. I got home, and was disappointed to find I received the cole slaw instead of the potato salad. The cole slaw had a tart vinegar flavor. Not my favorite, but it was ok. The cornbread and green beans were good. Overall I would go again.

Got, a couple sandwiches today and in one of them I found a large piece of chared aluminum foil. I tried calling the store to have them make it right, but Randy just brushed me off saying it was probably from a potato. I asked him what he could do to make it right thinking he would at least offer to replace the sandwich but he said i had to call back in the morning and speak to Kevin. I wouldn't have posted this online if he had shown even the slightest concern for the mistake but if this is how whits handles a cross contamination issue of this size what kind of issues get by unreported?
