Four Star Diner

I ordered a Ruben sandwich and it was a total mess. Sandwich was open face and the meat melted with the cheese was messy and all over the container. The bread was so soggy I couldn't even close the sandwich. Over $20 for low quality food? Smh. How does a restaurant not know how to keep a sandwich together. Threw it away didn't even think about taking a pic. Updated* took a pic of the aftermath. This is basically how it came. Everything splattered and had to pick it to eat some. Terrible

Food was edible. Disappointed with the service. Waitress was friendly, attentive and polite, but didn't bring plates with the appetizer course, condiments and sauces were only available after requesting them, which was after our food was served. I believe some adjustments in service would have created a better experience and earned more stars.

I went there because my husband said its a four star diner. It wasn't until we got there that i said looks like a 1 star to me. Look up and its name is four star diner. As usual we gave the benefit of the doubt. As soon as we walk in the lady who turns out to be the manager was super ghetto. Fast forward...the food comes out and im given a burned waffle along with burned bacon and sausage. When we complained to the waiter all he said was im sorry. I stopped complaining as my husbands burger seem to be fine and i wanted him to finish. The bill was over 40 for food that didn't get eaten and to top it off no one thought to do anything about it. Do not bother going to this location, once i entered the bathroom i understood why food was disgusting. They simply do not care. They get one star for having music selection at every table. I try places once and this place will never get recommended to anyone i know.

this was my favorite diner and after today i’ll never go back there again. My girlfriend and i go there all the time. She forgot her ID and they refused to serve her drinks because of it. we even had a picture of the id that they refused to accept. i understand that this is the law, but we are clearly of age and have been there enough times with our ids for them to know we are of age. We took a lot of pride spending our money here because it is a small family owned business with great service and generous portions, unfortunately, this senseless fear has made them lose us as patrons permanently.

Waiter forgot to put in our appetizer, didn’t bring butter or syrup for my Belgian waffle, didn’t ring up our drinks under the Happy Hour price so we had to get it fixed at the register, and just wasn’t really attentive. My beer was 3 months past the best by date. Also, 11.95 for a Belgian waffle with nothing on it and 3 sad slices of Taylor ham isn’t worth it. I don’t know if it’s the style in that area, but the Taylor ham wasn’t pan fried. It was practically completely pink with a few black grill marks on it. I wish I had gotten something else. My friends let me try their food (a Cuban and a beef empanada) and they were ok.
