LA GRAN VIA. A CUBAN CUSINE THAT IS ALL TASTY AND "SALUDABLE". Our meal started with warm bread and butter, then I ordered the Surf and Turf which consisted of large shrimps and skirt steak which is called in Spanish Churasco, medium well is how I like it. On the side came an order of tasty yellow rice with red beans and a choice of sweet plantains. My partner had the red snapper with rice and shrimp mixed in. The meal was great, and I spent about $88 and an added gratuity, Oh by the way, at the end of the meal I had a Cafè con Lechè, it was strong and had a great coffee taste to it. I’ve been ordering from here for the past 6 years and they have NEVER EVER let me down!!! They are AL AYS on point, consistent, and have the best customer service around. They speak Spanish but also speak very good English. They always get my order right and I do not speak Spanish. But tonight?? Tonight was exceptional!! The pernil was crispy, tender, and juicy with delicious seasoning. The yuka was PERFECT I love the green lime sauce. I don’t know what its proper name is so I call it the green lime sauce, whatever it’s called, it’s delicious. Nice and soft but crispy and chewy caramelized edges. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!
