This place is certainly one of the coolest place to eat in the area. Every time I go there I am profoundly happy. They keep their high level service and the highest level of food they serve. You surely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

Not good . Thank god its close down. Had to give it one start just to make a review . 30 years ago It was good but the owner sold it. And the new owner sucked . Ruined a well known place. Sad for Valley Center.

Scrambled eggs had a very weird texture and didn't taste good... Bacon was very chewy... Pancakes were ok..
Cheeseburger wasnt very good... it had an odd taste... Fries were ok...
Decor is horrible...
Waitress wasn't friendly..
I will not go back...

Papa Bear has a great breakfast, but changed their burgers. Bring back the hand padded burgers, before the change over they made good burgers

This resto saved my diabetic mom from a big sugar crash while on a road trip. The restaurant was picked at random because it was the closest and turned out to be a nice surprise. In her words: "Served by a nice young man, age 22 who was going to college. And prepared by a mysterious woman in the kitchen who remained nameless and unseen...and the interior was spotlessly clean… Worn, but clean." In addition to 'regular' fare like poached eggs they have more elaborate offerings like french toast stuffed with cream cheese and nuts and apricots.
