This location is no good. Location in downtown Toronto China town has way better service and food quality. We ordered the wonton soup and peking duck (lettuce wrap and pancake). The pancakes came out and there was significant meat on the skin. The green onion was old and began to brown. They then proceeded to bring out a big play of duck meat and bones, which we didn’t order, sent it back for the lettuce wraps and came back with a lettuce wrap dish with bones in it... The meat size was very large that the kids could not enjoy the wrap (lettuce, sauce, crispies) and eventually gave up on this dish. I’ve ordered this same thing at the downtown location and the quality is the best I’ve had in Canada. Overall, really disappointing quality of food at this location. Go to downtown Location.

The ambient is great, the decorations are simple but very nice. Crowded on weekends, I am not sure during weekdays. The food is based on the Shanghai cuisine. Typical steamed or fried dumplings, xiao long bao, hand pulled noodles, etc. The flavors and portions are good but I found it a bit pricey. Regarding the service, it was good, very attentive staff. Definitely a place to try!

Unfortunately one really bad experience trumps over all the other mediocre experiences. Amongst other dishes, we ordered during our most recent visit the standard and most popular steamed dumplings and pan fried dumpling. Ie 小籠包 and 鍋貼. Both dishes came uncooked which I find very unacceptable, most particularly because they are pork, and, these are their signature dishes!! After we notified the server, she kindly took back the dishes and helped to take away all our culteries that touched the raw pork. The manager didn't come over to apologize. However. Our server did come back to explain the reason to the uncooked dishes - because a cloth was placed on top of the steamer, so the steamer didn't steam the food properly. (I'm not convinced this is a valid reason though). Anyhow, we received a 10% discount for our meal, which, the server reiterated more than twice that "we gave you a 10% discount". Well thank you ms.server for the kind considerations after your restaurant served us with two raw pork dishes.
