Kibo Sushi

Very great place for casual sushi eating. If you're in the area and want a quick place for sushi this is a good spot. The service is a 5, and there were more than enough people to take orders, refill drinks, and whatever else you need. The sushi was pretty average, not as good as you would expect for the California coast, but it was okay. I'd expect that quality more where I come from in landlocked Minnesota though.

My husband and I were visiting my in-laws for the weekend. We last minute ended up at Kibo sushi because we have had really great food there before. When we walked in it was packed and I was a little bummed thinking the service probably won’t be great. I know that it’s because of Covid that lots of restaurants are dealing with little staff and as a result customer service usually suffers. However during this experience we had the best customer service that I can remember in a very long time. I believe the manager stepped into serve us because everyone else was so busy. He anticipated our needs and so did the rest of his staff, he was funny, prompt, and knew exactly what we needed. He carried himself with pride and he was so excellent we thought he was the owner. I can see what he’s the manager he’s amazing . Not to forget the food was absolutely amazing! I’m used to having to wait a long time especially if the food is really good at a restaurant when they’re busy. On this evening thought the food was really good and the customer service was amazing even though it was busy. I definitely recommend you give it a try and that you make it your go to sushi spot.

I traveled from Santa Barbara for this absolutely amazing place very hidden awesome food and service best sushi that I've had in a long time the longestino roll one of the best and Eduardo 1 of the best sushi cheffs. Awesome service from Miss Amelia and MacKenzie from them both. Start to finish great meal like I said came all the way down from Santa Barbara!

I have ordered food for a large group of people through the delivery service, it was raining and the driver was told that he had to wait outside, I called the driver to ask the reason for the delay and he explained the situation to me. At that point I decided to cancel my order because that is a true case of discrimination. To all the people who read this post, I beg you not to allow them to continue acting in that discriminatory way, order your food from another place that treats people with kindness and without discrimination.

I love kibo, but recently they have been missing the bar on easy requests. My last order I had fresh fish served in soy sauce which wasn't gluten free and was requested to be so. We have requested this dish many times before and never once seen it served with a sauce. We overall love kibo but check your food thoroughly before you leave.
