Good Time Donut

Looking for a quick breakfast or treat, head here! We arrived in Ventura early to catch a boat to the Channel Islands National Park, and we wanted to grab a bite before we departed. Time was too short for a traditional restaurant meal, and not much was open at that time anyways. But we also wanted something a bit more filling than most of the fast food joints, and with a bit more flavor than the cardboard reheated products that you get from Starbucks. We came to Vons to see what they had but found this shop right next door! The ham, egg, and cheese croissants were amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect temperature. There was also a great selection of donuts for a snack later in the morning. The women in charge of the front were extremely friendly and happy to chat. As we sat eating our breakfast, we watched them greet the locals and engage in the ongoing conversations that one can only have with locals that return day after day. If the locals like it, you know its good!

Jalapeno ham n cheese croissant was AWESOME!!!! Lady running the place was super nice and the donuts were seriously delicious. The BEST part though was we got a bunch of stuff and then she gave us some of the donut holes, easily best i've ever had, there were multiple different filling flavors in them, I WANT MORE!!! THANKS!!!!
