Mr Brews Taphouse

Great neighborhood Taphouse & Eatery. The night we were here they were understaffed. It was just the owner running the place. He had a couple people call in. Extremely impressed how he conducted himself and made sure nobody waited around for a drink or food. The burgers are great and the tap list is even better. Also for a beer connoisseur like myself he assured me he cleans the tap lines every two weeks. Which was evident in the quality of the pour.

Have not eaten here in a while, heard there was new ownership so we went back. The Firehouse burger we had was amazing! Whole family had the same burger and everyone agreed (we love spice!). The burger size/ quality was noticeably different, great changes Mr. Brew's Verona!!! We have been back 2 days later and will be back again soon.

We came for lunch on a day where they had one young man running the whole show!! We didn’t ask why and he didn’t complain at all because he had it down to a science! We couldn’t decide what he did best because he was a great waiter, chef, & bartender! Kudos to this guy and he could teach a few folks about how to give 110%

Stopped in for a Friday fish dinner. Shoulda had the fish tacos. The fillets were batter deep fried and unfortunately, at least to me, tasted like th hey were fried in the same oil as the French fries, chicken fingers, and onion rings. You do get a very fresh and light dinner roll, as well as pretty good coleslaw. Next time I'll skip the fillet and go for the tacos or a burger. Their burgers I can recommend.

Really good burgers for a decent price. The fresh cut fries are my reason for going though. They are great. The wait staff and bar tenders have always been friendly. Good selection of tap bears that is always changing. Like ever where these days days IPAs dominate the lineup. there is always a couple stouts and porters, sometimes a scotch ale. There are also plenty of options in lagers. The beer tastes fresh, they clearly do a good job with their tap lines. The place is clean. It's often crowded (pre COVID) but you can still get a table. I would say it is reasonably family friendly.
