Upstate Tavern

The Upstate Tavern at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino is a great mix between-if you want to dress up or super casual. I love this place because of it's modern barn like finish on the inside. The wait staff was super accommodating and very quick, the restaurant was also very clean. I highly recommended 1the chicken riggies; yum yum yum.

Went on a "just because" date with my wife. She had the philly cheese steak with french fries, and a harvest mule. I had their 20.21 deal, which was a harvest burger with cranberry aioli and stuffing on top. Came with a side of mash potato's. Comes with a beer and a free glass. My meal was wonderful. Wife's sandwich was kinda dry. She used the a lot of ketchup to make it better. Said she probably wouldn't order it again. But her drink was wonderful. We did order a mocha brownie boozy milkshake and split it. That was also pretty good. Did have to wait 50 mins for a table for 2 but was around 5PM and on a Saturday.

We came here for a birthday dinner & the menu has a lot of good choices! We got two apps- the onion rings and the spinach dip, both were pretty good. I got the harvest mule which was delicious, although didn’t really taste like it had any alcohol in it. Our waitress did not ask us if we wanted any more food or drink, & someone other than our waitress brought out our apps and dinners so we didn’t see her much at all. When the food came out, it looked really good, but unfortunately it just didn’t taste as good as it looked. Many of our meals seemed under seasoned. When we left the restaurant, I felt it was underwhelming food & service (not bad in any way!! Just not as good as you would think for the prices & location). Originally I said I wouldn’t go back, but judging by the other great reviews, I may give it one more chance.
