Pie Peddlers

We were strolling the streets looking for food, and found a dessert spot! Big band music playing... Good selection of pies...for sale by the Pie, slice, or mini pie. I got the mini pecan pie...they warmed it before serving...it was yummy!! Wife got a piece of chocolate pie! Served on a chilled plate...”It’s good, but not Nanny’s”—but to be fair, you can’t compare with Nanny’s...

Delicious. Not everyone makes a rhubarb pie. Pie Peddlers makes two kinds (raspberry and strawberry) and they are great. The fresh fruit tart is creamy, fruity, and delicious. The banana cream taste like my families old recipe (which is a great thing). The crust appears hand folded and is crispy. This isn't something I'm used to but it is very good with these pies. I'm coming back.

So I would normally write a review with an awesome picture of my food, but I just couldn't help myself. My Banana Cream pie wad gone in about 2 seconds. I also just had to get an original Dr. Pepper, since I am just down the street from the Dr. Pepper Musem. The food was delicious, as was the staff, and the atmosphere. Located in Mary's St. Market. This pie shop is centrally located in d downtown Waco.
