Logan's Roadhouse

This place was so fun! My son (named Logan) insisted on going while we were on vacation in Waco. The hostess was very friendly and sat us very quickly. Once seated our waitress came over and took our order. She was full of great suggestions and very helpful with our questions. Once our food came out we dug in! It was delicious and the portions were large! Our waitress checked on us and promptly refilled our drinks. Great place to take kids or to go alone. Awesome service!!!

7:30pm Saturday night memorial day weekend. 12 tables occupied in the whole restaurant(bad sign). We were seated at 7:40pm. Waitress was pleasant and you out drink and appetizer order. Fried mushrooms 7.99. Came with 23 SLICED mushrooms. Really! Sliced not whole! Ordered dinner just after 8pm. Dinner got the table at 8:49 after asking server to check on our food(remember only 12 tables occupied). One order was one incorrect, server to it back then returned with it and said would you like this one anyway, it's more than you ordered. By now the other order that didn't come out with the others showed up. Did

Our visit to Logan's Roadhouse was great! The staff was absolutely phenomenal, wonderfully kind and helpful. The food was very good at the atmosphere was just right! We had to leave early because of the air sirens, but they offered to let us take shelter in their kitchen. Overall, very nice establishment. Would recommend!

Our waitress was friendly and served the purpose. The food quality was poor. Our steaks which were suppose to be medium rare were burnt. Rolls were supposedly in the oven but took awhile for us to get 2 and was never offered more. The steaks were re cooked and it took a long while for them. By that time our baked potatoes were cold. We added 6 shrimp to our order which was actually a shrimp skewer of 5 small shrimp. So not worth it. We will not be back to this place

Everyone my daughter and I encountered were great but there is an employee there named Erik that was amazing. He took the time to make sure we were taken care of from the moment we entered to when we left and it felt like he actually actually happy to see us. The rolls were delicious, especially with butter. I enjoyed everything, I didn't eat the rice or but I did try the fries (for my daughter). Neither of us could finish our meal with exception of the chicken.

We arrived at Logan's around 7:45 on Sunday. We were a party of two so we were sat quickly. The first impression of the place was not that great. There was trash and food all over the floor as well as crayons. The restaurant was nearly empty save about 4 tables. After several minutes, a waitress stopped by saying she would be right with us. Several more minutes passed before she came back, so not until about 10-12 minutes after being sat did we get a waitress. By that point we were ready to order our meal, but she only took our drink order. We ordered two sweet teas and one beer. 5-7 minutes later, one sweet tea as well as some rolls were brought to the table. At this point, we still had not put in an order for our meal. The waitress stopped back by our table 2-3 times saying she was going to check on my beer but not once did she ever walk over to the bar area. Finally, we asked if we should go to the bar ourselves to get our one beer and reminded her about the sweet tea she never brought for me. We were told the bar was backed up. Again, there were maybe 4 tables seated and no more than 5 people at the bar. I doubt there was any backup of orders. When she finally walked over to the bar, lo and behold, the beer was there waiting for her to pick it up, and upon delivery it was quite obvious the beer had been poured some time ago. After being seated for a total of 20-25 minutes, we were finally able to place our food order. The food came quickly after ordering, but the meal was quite unimpressive. The loaded mashed potatoes were just regular mashed potatoes with cheese melted on top, no bacon, no chives, or anything else. The Mac & cheese tasted as though it was cooked earlier and re-heated and was slightly soggy. The steak was cooked to my request but looked sad; almost grey looking as though it had been microwaved and then just seared on the grill. The overall cost of our meal was over $80 and over an hour of our time was wasted on this disappointment. I would have valued the meal at half that cost as far as quality and service goes. I feel as though I would have been better off getting a salad at this steak house. I was sorely disappointed and will likely not be returning to Logan's.
