The Wild Boar

Great local pub away from the town centre but not far from the train station. Huge selection of real ales, some brewed on site where the workings can be seen. Great little beer garden for the summer and a large function room which include use for a comedy club night once every other month. Cosy place, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.

Came today with family, only had a couple of drinks as I was visiting my mother in hospital we came here as its just down the road from the hospital and thought it would be nice to get together at the pub instead of at hospital and it certainly was! The bar staff were friendly and polite, it was quiet inside but we sat outside due to the hot weather! It's a lovely small garden area with plants and a few benches, very quiet and peaceful. Lovely little pub! Would recommend if you want a chilled atmosphere aleo when in the area I'll be back to try the food 😋
