Nyc's Mac N' Cheese

Went here for lunch, sat outside. I had the Grilled marinated chicken breast served with 2 market sides. I choose broccoli with garlic and green peas with bacon and shallots. It’s a basic meal and you could prob cook something quite close to this at home but I really enjoyed the meal. It was great to have something a bit healthier compared to all the other food I was eating in NY. The service was good and the food arrived quickly which was great!

The Meal was really good, the fries were excellent. The staff were very hectic, you didn't have time to look at the menu. we just got our menu card, not a second later another waitress comes and stands in front of our table, waiting for the order. Put a lot of pressure on us. That's bothered me a lot

I like Westville ...always delicious food. However, this was my first- and last- visit to the compact Ave. A location. Have eaten at Westville many times - but at Chelsea location only. Was in E. Village yesterday and so it was convenient to give this location a try. I was expecting same standard as Chelsea; only a few tables were occupied and so I figured we'd be served pretty fast. Not so. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Evidently the place was overwhelmed with takeout orders - several hundred (?) we overheard - and the dining room was literally packed- not with fellow diners - but with hungry takeout customers just standing about and impatiently waiting for their orders 'to go'. People surrounded our table just inches away, hovering about. It was really uncomfortable for us sitting at a table, to have these people lined up all around and glowering over us. Westville staff made no attempt to control the situation or shoo anyone outside, which is what they should have done. Two stars because our food was still good. However, service was non-existent and the atmosphere just awful. Westville food and ambience should be great - so just avoid this one and head to the other locations where they seem to know better what they're doing.

This used to be my GO-to years ago when I would work on Hudson Street even though I live closer to east village location. All I can say if I went on Friday for dinner and the service is still exactly the same, friendly and sweet. My only complaint were my sweet potato fries came out and were cold and slightly soggy, I prefer them crisper and firmer but the cornmeal crusted shrimp were unexpectedly good and my friend had the Argentine bowl and said it was good. He thought for the price that could have been a few more pieces of steak which I agree with. The cider I had from Hudson Valley was delish!

I been here here for breakfast and I wasn't sure what to get. The server Leana came over and I told her what I am thinking I want and she was reccomending something very similar. She was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. Even when we had a small issues with the food she took care of it right away. This restaurant is very lucky having her as a waitress because she provides such of good customer experience and high standard service.

Was honestly pretty underwhelmed by the food here. I shared a turkey burger and the salmon with market vegetables and got a pina colada. The pina and service were great, however the salmon was over cooked, the burger was really dry and the brussel sprouts didn’t have the stems cut off causing the to have a weird unchewable part. No desire to come back again.

Visiting westville is like a reward to myself, because prices don’t fit my daily budget. So i took myself out for a plate of market vegetables, and sadly I remember them being better tasting, the roast and quality was always impeccable. Today didn’t feel that way 💔 I sat at the bar, the person who works at the bar was the greatest, very kind and great service
