I moved to Wellington from Seattle a year ago and have been searching for my favorite go to Indian place. This place is delicious, affordable and fresh. Muthu takes the time to use healthy ingredients, more coconut milk less cream and very authentic Indian dishes. Delicious roti, beautiful curries. Great customer service! Will definitely come back and bring our friends. Also lots of gluten free and dairy free options if you have dietary requirements! Thank you for the delicious lunch!

Great food! The besttt dosa one could find in whole town. The size of dosa will keep you full until next meal. Sambar is too good. Service is so great. Very helpful and kind. Chef Muthu Anna is so humble and does a fantastic job. Must visit if you are craving for South Indian food. Ambience is good too! Overall had a great experience.

The food is awesome with warm and excellent customer service from whole team. Do visit for authentic south Indian or Malaysian food. The flavours are superb. The place is near by to the domestic airport. Broadway at Miramar is absolutely worth the visit. Keep up the good work and we’ll surely visit again whenever visiting Wellington for sure.

we walked in from Wellington city centre to go to the Weta Workshop and were craving some tasty food after for lunch. this place hit the spot and more! my bf had been looking for Indian and i was looking for some Malay food so this was perfect. the beef rendang with coconut rice (+ garlic roti) were excellent. and the butter chicken my bf had was fantastic. the owner was incredibly nice and helpful and i hope people continue to enjoy this little gem. and naturally, i ordered the gulab jamun (one of my favourite desserts ever) and they were also quite nice. worth the trip out from Wellington or if you happen to find yourself in the area.

If you want top quality authentic Southern Indian or Malaysian, go here. The flavours are superb. I was so impressed with freshness of the dishes. I loved the Beef rendang and the onion Bhaji were spot on with generous peanut and yoghurt sauces. My son cleaned up the peanut sauce with his very generous main of lamb Kothu Parotta. This was a tasty Street food dish of chopped up lamb. Muthus is in a set of local shops including a nearby dairy. My son and I were just walking past and noticed it. Muthu is ex Cambridge Hotel, another place that I enjoyed his meals. It was so great to catch up again. His new place on Broadway at Miramar is absolutely worth the visit.
