Carvel Ice Cream And Bakery

After trying to get ice cream at another place that was closed on Christmas Eve (even though Google maps said it was open), this was the next closest place that was open and this place did not disappoint!!! I got a small cup with one scoop strawberry and another scoop of their butter ice cream. The butter ice cream was new to me and it's amazing! It has bits of biscoff cookies in it. The employee there scooped us huge servings, so big that my fiance saw and changed his order of a medium chocolate with sprinkles to a small LOL! Together our order was a little over $11, which could have easily been worth $16 at another ice cream place. Great place to help curb your ice cream cravings!

I'm on vacation here in Jersey and didn't know how bad the ice cream at this place was. My family and I were craving ice cream and decided to order some through Door Dash. We ordered 4 pints for $6 each. When the ice cream arrived the containers were about 3/4 full. For $6 a pint I expect the pint to be full, otherwise why don't they lower the price. I called the establishment to find the reason behind their false advertising. The employee on the phone said the owner told them not to fill them up, which I think is a poor way to run a business. Not only was the ice cream expensive, but it was mediocre at best.

PROS: This carvel was located on a main street of the city along other major businesses. The place was very clean and covid friendly with markings on the floor. The staff was nice and their selection was quite good. CONS: Unfortunately this Carvel is not as large as others and there's nowhere to park. Along with that, since the place is small you cannot sit inside and there are no tables outside. OVERALL: This is a nice place to grab a quick snack and be on your way but don't think about grabbing something, sitting down, and enjoying it because there's no room. I'll come back to this one if I'm ever back in the area

Amazing Place! We already reached there pretty late almost at the closing time, but the owner was so friendly. We wanted a printed cake. She showed us all the amazing cakes and different flavors they had. But we wanted a Harry Potter printed cake and she did made the cake ready very soon in just 10 mins. And the cake is awesome! Loved it!
