1st this restaurant is behind another so follow Waze, it's not lost LOL 2nd the building leans a little, you're not drunk yet LOL. It was actually funny as we thought we were losing it until other people said no worries it's a little tilted and was a funny conversation starter with strangers hehehe We had the New England Clam Chowder which I found to be too thick to the point where it was like having fondue. But hubby loved it, anything with cream and cheese he loves lol French Onion Soup would have been good if it wasn't so salty... It made all of our mouths pucker... We told the waitress and she just took it off our check. Stuffed Clams were good! Usually it's just stuffing over the little clam meat, they took the clam meat and chopped it up and mixed it into the stuffing so each bite had clam yum! Fish and Chips, the fish was light and moist, the chips were curly fries! Yay hehehe Davy Jones Burger - is it a burger with lobster or a lobster roll with burger? Either way it was delicious!!! Hubby's cuz and I both ordered the burger ;) and both loved it. They have a stuffed burger which has cheese inside the burger, but as I can't have dairy I didn't try it and the guys were on "diets" LOL There is an enclosed outdoor patio you can eat from with a view of the water but it was just too hot and humid for us to be out there. There are docks along the back were locals can just drive their boat right up and walk into the restaurant. It was a fun experience, if ever in the CT area would definitely stop in again :)

Divey place with limited menu. One server was kind and helpful, the other could use some training, since when he placed the plates on the table, some of the food slipped off the plate. And when he brought the cups of water, they were so full to the rim that they spilled and soaked all the items on the table. Also, water refills...refill them with a pitcher and don't bring another plastic cup and straw (saves the restaurant $ and the environment). Food is meh. The egg burrito was so oily that when I picked it up, it seriously dripped so much oil...and made the tortilla all greasy. Why is there so much oil in an egg burrito? Home fries were like small bits of French fries. Overall...meh.

Everything we ordered was incredible!! We kept meaning to take pictures of our food before eating it because it all looked so good but everything was so delicious we couldn't help ourselves and only took pics after! We ordered the popcorn shrimp, potato taquitos, and wings as appetizers. The popcorn shrimp was easily the best I've ever had. The potato taquito was also sooo good it was like a Mexican Blintz! Highly recommend! I ordered the Lobster smothered burger it was great, and the fries and onion ring portions were huge and delicious!

a few weeks back on a Friday night, i visited the black duck café with some friends as i was told by some locals that it was a hometown must hit! Right when I came in it was fun and energetic atmosphere, we were directed to pick a table, and our server Julia was fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. We ordered around of beers on tap, and some apps. The nachos were greats, as were the wings. On the other hand we all got the pulled pork sandwiches for entrees. Which left some to desired. overall a very good experience kudos to Julia!
