Golden Bowl

You would have to be in an urban area or on the west coast to get such authentic and tasty Chinese cuisine. The owner is awesome, the atmosphere is set up for carry out or dine in but is understated (which I like). They do in fact process credit cards now and the price is cheap. I no longer have to wait for a business trip to have truly excellent Chinese food. The best I've had in a long time.

I absolutely HATE this place! Their Food is disgusting ! There is no way they use any fresh ingredients.. It tastes processed , frozen , and maybe even a little hint of freezer burn in there as well...YUCK. I mean honestly who can screw up a side fired rice that comes with the entree? Well let me tell you these people can! The walls and decor are way outdated not to mention down right dusty from years and years of not cleaning and filthy gross! I would love to find out how in God's name the health inspector lets them conduct business! I will be calling them after watching him cross contaminate food the 2nd time I was in that retched place. Which brings me to this ..Let me tell you The second go round which was my mistake completely, I should have learned after the first time. But since I am a generous person. So, I decided to give them another chance maybe they had an off day,right?, (plus they are fairly close to where I live which is better than waiting for take out or driving to pickup Hunan's which is the best Chinese Cuisine in this town hands down) ERRR WRONG!! I call in a simple order of Beef Lo Mein and a side of fried rice, he says after making me hold and with him screaming at some one on the other end of the phone for 5 min it will be ready in 30 min...So, I wait 30 min then leave my house drive 2-3 min to pick it up after standing in line for 10 min listening to them scream at each other in Chinese over money or something in front of all there diners and other customers in line. I also started watching him cook , and he just about cross contaminated everything in his kitchen and DID NOT wash his hands after touching money of all things and plenty of other things that would require a thorough wash of the hands before he returned to the kitchen GROSS! I almost walked out then and should have, because they DID NOT even make my order at all!! They were like what did you have again and never even apologized to me or anything! Then the girl up front tells me it will be another 30 min on my food !! I told her she was out of her freaking mind and that I was going to Hunan's. (which took them 15 min form the time I called it in to get it to me in the drive thru! ) This is the hard truth people! EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK LITERALLY!!
