The Big Tomato

Best pizza place I’ve eaten from in awhile. Would definitely recommend the pan and deep dish. Not too thick on the cheese or sauce and just enough to get the full flavor. I’d also recommend that people eat at Big Tomato and support a true small shop instead of spending their money at Napolita Pizzeria and Wine Bar. Less expensive and more bang for your buck.

I literally am in shock at what just happened. We called this place and asked how long the wait was, and the person who answered said “depends on what you order “. I said “oh I mean to sit!” There was a long pause and she said “you can just come in.” She seemed annoyed that I called. I shouldn’t have proceeded to take our family there, but I did. We walked in. The girl rolled her eyes, walked behind the register and ignored us. So we walked up and said “oh do we order here?” She mumbled “you can do whatever you want.” So we said, “ok but where is a menu?” She pointed at a basket of paper menus. We walked over and reluctantly said she’d take our order. Every table was filthy. We waited for about 8 minutes. She never came back out. We literally just had to walk out and leave because she never came to take our order or check on us or clear a table. It was unbelievable.

This place is great. I went here with my family, and everybody loved it! The salad is always fresh, (I was told they were bought at a local Farmers Market) and the pizza is very good. The deep dish is pretty good, but this place really shines at it's thin crust. It's very​ crunchy, and the sauce is sweet, but tomato-ey. So, in review, get the margarita pizza and the house salad. You won't be disappointed!
