Junction 421

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Junction 421! We had our work Christmas dinner there this past Sunday. We had 26 people and were able to make a large table reservation without needing a deposit. We arrived at 6:30 and after having amazing drinks,apps,dinners and deserts we were able to pay with separate bills and we were still out the door by 8:30! The food was amazing, drinks were tasty, and the two waiters we had did everything perfectly, even slipping a birthday dessert in at the end for a coworkers daughter. Would 1,000% recommend them!🎄🎅🏼🤶🏻

What a lovely brunch experience! The hostess & server were friendly & attentive. They brought out some banana bread with strawberry butter to snack on while we waited for our food (which was not long at all). The chicken & waffles were delicious & offered huge portions! The little fruit cup was beautiful & the fruit tasted yummy & fresh even off season. The owner is so nice & stopped by to chat. Even the background music was awesome. Highly recommend!

We were visiting Wilmington and did a lot of online research and found this restaurant. They are so nice! The owners came to our table to welcome us and go over favorites. It has a great ambience and the food is flavored so well and super large portions. We thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Wilmington. Oh and they gave us a free fried pimento cheese appetizer since it was our first time there!

Bill and I hosted our 40th wedding anniversary family party at 421 and it was perfect! All 4 of our daughters and their families attended, 3 traveling from out of state. All raved about their respective meals 😋 and flow of beverages! 😉 The waiter had a great sense of timing and humor; and the owner, Jonathan, was so attentive to our needs. They allowed us to move furniture in the back room to accommodate our seating preferences and so we could dance and sing. Food and service were outstanding! We felt “welcomed home”! Candy

My wife and I started coming here about a year ago. Each time we come, either by ourselves or with friends, the high quality is consistent. The staff is extremely polite in all aspects of their actions and communication. We have tried many of the menu items, including the daily specials. I can honestly say we have NEVER been disappointed. The lasagna was the perfect portion, for example, and absolutely delicious. But whatever you select, you will get good food and outstanding service.

Went here on a Friday evening, parking lot was crowded but they seated two of us right away. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Had the double smash burger and it was excellent. Restaurant is nice (same interior as when it was OC), bathroom was clean and staff was friendly. A bit on the pricey side but overall a good experience.

The decor and atmosphere were quite nice. The Fried Pamento appetizer was surprisingly good, especially for someone like me who is not a fan of Pamento cheese. The side salad was huge for a side salad, and fully loaded with toppings. The French Onion flatbread was quite good also; everything blended together well, with the horseradish sauce being a nice accent and not overpowering at all. Very pleased!

Stopped in today, 4/9/2023, for Easter brunch. We had a reservation, as recommended, and were seated right away. Staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. My wife had Champagne Chicken and a strawberry mimosa. My daughter had lasagna. I had beef roast and a hot coffee with amarett, brandy, and some whipped topping( I forget the name on the menu for that). Had devilled eggs as an appetizer. They had a real bacon topping and were terrific. Price points are reasonable for what is offered. Nice decor, moderately upscale. They have a full bar and a large selection of wines. They have some interesting wall decorations, one made of old books that I took a picture of. Also some pictures of celebrities, but I don't know if they dined there. Examples include Meadowlark Lemon from the Harlem Globetrotters, Charlie Daniel's, the musician, and Whistler's mother. She is the only one I am fairly sure of that didn't go there. Proper drinking straws, large size, were provided. Not those inferior,flimsy paper monstrosities that collapse after 20 minutes and were displaced ( rightly so ) by plastic straws decades ago. Huzzah to Junction 421 for looking after their clientle! Anyway, I definitely recommend and would certainly return if I am in the area again.
