the waitress (Heather) was super sweet, knew exactly how to make sure I had what I needed without hovering. the food came quickly and was delicious. it's a very cute diner - very good family vibes. what put it over the top was when a doordash driver came in to pick up and the gentleman (Tom?) offered him a water because he had to go back out in the heat. so sweet! I've never heard of any restaurant doing that.

Very disorganized staff. Stood at front for about 5 minutes before anyone was acknowledged (myself and probably 5 others). Two employees had to decide who was going to be our host(ess). When they figured it out, the host took me to my table and said "I've got the breakfast menu here for you. Is that okay?" Umm… it's like 1pm, dude. No, it's not okay. An older guy likes to just come out of the kitchen and stand, staring at customers like a stalker (not like a typical manager would do). One woman asked another if she wanted help and the second woman said "I'M BUSY!", but refused help. Salad was swimming in dressing. Lunch entree (pastichio) wasn't bad. A little different than what I'm used to, but that's why I ordered it. The set of silverware across the table from me had not been washed properly. Still had something on them. The flap on the sugar jar thing for coffee doesn't close, so at night, their bugs (I'd be willing to bet they have bugs) probably have a blast in there. Biggest problem was the bread that the server brought me. Underneath the bread, inside the coffee filter with the bread, was someone else's balled up straw wrappers! Like I started to butter my bread and saw it and thought to myself "I don't remember putting my straw wrapper in there." Nope, mine was still on the table. If it wasn't for someone else's dirty dish being used for my food, I'd probably give this place 3 stars.

Let me tell you something the waitress was incredibly nice but the food was not it. My friends ordered pasta and a wrap with salad while I got a lasagna and somehow their food (yes even the salad) was swimming in grease. My lasagna was bad that I couldn’t even eat it after 3 bites. If you’re gonna eat there don’t for the love of god get the lasagna!!!

The food is very inconsistent. I love Greek food but hesitate to order it because the last time I ordered take out, the Mousaka was burnt and I couldn't eat it. This time my Gyro was good but the meat was pre-formed and not fresh. However, I ordered the Baklava for dessert and it was dark brown and tasted burnt. I couldn't eat it and sent it back. I want to like this restaurant, but the food is a hit or miss and I hesitate to go back.

I love this place and the food is always amazing. I am leaving this review to point out how rude the lady working the cash register was. I understand how busy it was for brunch rush on a Saturday but she was extremely rude even to the point of yelling at me. I just came in for a takeout order but jeez that lady needs an attitude adjustment.

This is a casual restaurant so you can "come as you are". The food is some of the best I've ever had! If you are looking for fresh, home cooked, made from scratch food then treat yourself to a meal here. If you have dietary restrictions, special orders are no problem. No time to sit? You can get it to go! The prices are fair and the portions are generous! Hours are 6:30am-8:00pm See you there!! They are open onThanksgiving!! THANKSGIVING DINNERS ARE AVAILABLE!! Stopped by for dinner one night after searching around for good local family diners in and around Newark and Wilmington Delaware. Glad to have found this place. Have returned here 4 times since. The place offers a friendly, homely and cosy dining experience and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Enjoyed the chicken croquettes, chicken steak, wings, salad and plenty of other things. I am pretty sure you won’t be disappointed. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.
