The beef brisket sandwich with the "hot" sauce was great. Pulled pork is another good sandwich here. I used to be disappointed in the mac & cheese but the last 2 times it has been much better. Also, got their brisket breakfast sandwich one morning and like that. This place has been steadily improving in my opinion. Each visit the food improves.

Locale BBQ Post did an outstanding job catering for my Dad’s birthday party this past weekend. Everyone LOVED the food, and there was plenty left over, despite us refilling the containers repeatedly. All of the meats (brisket, pulled pork, and chicken) and sauces were fantastic (extra compliments were given for “The Sauce” and the bbq sauce) and the yams and baked beans were delicious. We also enjoyed the potato salad and pickles. I really appreciate the communication also, even when I increased the amount of food being ordered within the week of the party.

LACK OF FLAVOR! I had the brisket and chicken and both were super dry, even the sauce couldn't save it. I don't understand how brisket or chicken stay dry if they've been drowned in sauce. The collard greens tasted like they'd been cooked in a vinegar based barbecue sauce and even that didn't help provide flavor. Everything just seemed dreadfully under-seasoned and the meat had a pull to it when chewed...almost as if it'd been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. Won't be coming back here for BBQ.

Nope!! First red flag was that there is no smell of smoke anywhere near the place! I ordered the brisket which was terrible. No smoke flavor at all! It was shredded, overcooked and severely lacking flavor! I was expecting nice juicy, fatty pieces of meat and got the complete opposite! Their meat must sit in warmers all day. I also ordered chicken. It was also "chopped," overcooked and severely lacking smoke or any other flavor. Definitely not barbque by a long shot. But the person inside was extremely courteous! Can't take that away from him.

I haven’t even tasted the food and give this restaurant 2 stars for there VERY poor customer service and baby portion of ribs for $25. I guess the attitude came for interrupting their SLOW period, because when I walked in everyone was sitting on the counter on their phones. No wonder business was slow. The white guy at the counter needs a lesson in customer service. I sure hope the smoke flavor in the ribs and chicken wings are as strong as his attitude. Never again

Ordered take out early in the day before it would be busy for lunch and they asked me when I wanted to come pick it up, I asked if 20 min was enough time and they said yes. When I got there, 20 min later, they hadn’t even started on my stuff and served a guy who had ordered at the counter before me. When we got the food home it was blah. I cannot believe the rave reviews for the food…. The brisket was completely flavorless and was soggy and watery. The pulled pork was ok. The Mac and cheese is ok- trying to make it gourmet when it would probably just be better traditional. So disappointed. I should also mention that I waited about 2 years to try this place again after a previous bad customer service experience where I just walked out because the guy working the counter was so rude to people in front of me in line. I won’t be back.
