Sonic Drive-in

What used to be our favorite fast food burger place has been steadily going downhill the last few months. This was the place to go for a really good burger and fries and the wait staff was always super cool and polite. Lately though the burgers aren't getting seasoned hardly at all, leaving them with a rather bland taste and the fry oil not changed frequently enough, making the fries overly greasy and having a burnt flavor. Plus this last trip one of the male servers was constantly looking at their phone and walking very slowly, which was causing a back up with the customers getting their food. Thank God the female server was trying her best! A majority of their parking/dining spots are still closed off months after the COVID cases have diminished, making it tough some times to find a spot. We've seen people making laps in the parking lot looking for an opening only to drive away because of this. Oh, and forget about using their app to order ahead and to try to take advantage of the half price drinks as this location is not using this service. Closest one that is is located in Jacksonville. App always says it is not available there at this time and when we mentioned it to the server they told us they know about it and that's as far as it goes. Plus if you like getting hit up for money by homeless people while trying to enjoy your meal then this is the place for you!

Stopped in to take advantage of the one dollar chilidog special advertised in the app. I placed my order from my house and everything looked fine. Once I arrived, online ordering and ordering through the app had been turned off for this location. Safety tape had been strung up across most of the stalls to cut the traffic down to nine cars and there was a line of people waiting for others to pull out. This establishment is on its way to going out of business. How can you stay in business if you're not open and conducting business the way the franchise tells you too. Once the Chilidogs arrived they didn't have any chili on them. They were plain cheese dogs. Seriously unhappy with this visit. Did you that there is no such thing as a sugar free slushy product at Sonic? It's true. The slushy base includes sugar, and they don't offer a sugar free option for the base. People who have diabetes and think they are ordering a sugar free product should be made aware. They advertise to use the app at this location but turn it off when people try to use it. I contacted Sonic through their website before writing this review.

Usually enjoy sonic, but this time was far from good. Almost 60% of the stalls were closed, and when we finally got to order the lady on the mic claimed she couldn’t hear us when we ordered more food but heard the first half of the order fine. My girlfriend ordered a chili cheese dog and on the screen it showed she did. But when she got her food it was chili cheese tots, like huh? The fries tasted like old grease as well. Not to mention the card reader didn’t work on the stall. This sonic needs some help.

Fast, convenient The only disappointment of this experience was the fact that they false advertised. I went there expecting a wonderful happy experience and was completely disappointed hey the fact they did not deliver my food on rollerskates as they previously advertised in commercials. Whatever though.

Actual parent of an adolescent that worked here recently for several weeks. I'll never spend my money at any of there locations. For several weeks we spent time picking up our 16 yo daughter between 12-1am. She reported being scared to go to work one day out of fear that a male co-worker threatened to assault her. She reported informing the manager to no avail. She called the manager two days later, they released her and she was not rescheduled for not going to work on the day the manager was off, yet they never validated her feelings of perceived threat from her co-worker. I'm looking for the number to the corporate office as we speak!
