The dining room and lounge has been completely redone in recent years - feels very modern and sharp now. I always drop by for wing nights, which are a pretty good price, and in my opinion, the best wings in the city. I've come to recognize several of the staff there, and they're always very friendly and helpful. Just a downright good experience each time I go!

Got the chicken Parmesan, was BUSSING. But that’s where the pleasantries ended *sad trombone sounds*, my friend was supposed to get waffles but got crepes SADNESS. But anyways guys, please drop a like and follow on my review page, and SAMSH for more reviews. WOO WOO!!!! UWU BAKA >~< meow

Had a great lunch here today. I had the Mediterranean Salad with a grilled chicken breast. The salad was absolutely delicious with many healthy items in it. The chicken breast was super tender and tasty.
My wife had the Meat Lovers Skillet and said it was outstanding and very flavorful.
Management and service was excellent!

Went here for dinner with my daughter...the food was delicious. Even though it was late at night and there were no other patrons in the restaurant, we did not feel rushed. My daughter was visiting from Toronto. It was great!

I like this location in particular
The staff are always friendly, the restaurant is always very clean. Even the bathrooms are spotless. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I was politely robbed.
My bill was $42 and change so I handed my waitress a 50 and some change and said all I would like back was a $5 and you can have the rest. Which would have been still $6 tip. But she got distracted by the others at the table paying with the debit machine. So she ended up forgetting to get me my $5 and I didn't want to be THAT GUY that asks for his change back. So because I couldn't get myself to ask her for the $5 back I ended up tipping her $11.
But hey the service was great the food was great. And tbh she earned that 11 with her excellent level of service. I just felt like I was politely robbed lol cause the other person I went to eat with only tipped her practically a dollar so I guess I made up for his bad tip.
All and all I would definitely go eat there. Good food good atmosphere and great staff.

Great staff, food came out fast and hot. Had a small mistake with are order but they fixed it quickly and with no trouble at all. Food was good. The place was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table at all.

From 3pm to 6pm they have a 65+ menu that is awesome ( main selection, soup or salad regular beverage plus iceceam for dessert. Very generous portions. Have tried turkey dinner, salisbury steak delicious. Quick service great sanitizing

Since I posted the review below, the owner has contacted me. He apologized for the issues we faced, asked us to give the restaurant a second chance, and issued us a credit to use at the Henderson Hwy location. We agreed to go back. My husband and I took the kids there for dinner. We were treated well. The food was good. The staff was very nice. When we were done the Assistant GM came to talk to us. She said she had started working there a couple weeks prior. She apologized for what had previously happened. She was very friendly and generally seemed like a nice person. We will continue to go back. Hopefully, we do not have anymore negative experiences. I only gave it a 4 star for now as I am averaging out our total experience.
This location would be given a 5 star rating if we were talking about the manager's love of money over customer satisfaction - but we're not.
I never paid attention before, but I just noticed Smitty's Promise of Quality: "We promise that our food will taste great and be of high quality. If, for any reason, our food or service fails to please you completely, let us know and we will make it right, immediately. That’s our Smitty’s™ promise to you."
The Henderson location must not believe in this. My family and I were at this location recently. We used to go there on a regular basis. This time my daughter and her friend each tried the Penne Alfredo. The friend said it tasted "off" but would be able to eat it, and did. My daughter said it was making her ill and could not eat it. We discussed this with the waitress. She asked if we wanted her to have the meal remade but told us it probably would come out the same. She told us my daughter could order something else instead, so she did. Everything was fine. A male came out later, which I believe was the manager, & asked if everything was fine. It was. He left. Well, we found that the manager decided not to rectify anything & refused to take it off the bill. So much for their Promise of Quality! The waitress told us the manager insisted we get charged for both. I would have assumed the Promise of Quality would mean only one meal was charged. We believed we would be paying for the replacement meal. Not so! You pay for everything you order - even if you can't eat it without throwing up! We let the waitress know that we would not be returning to this location. The Smitty's on Henderson Promise of Quality is not Smitty's Canada's Promise of Quality.
Since restrictions have just recently been lifted, my family was hoping to get back to our usual routine. We are a family of six (and sometimes more, with friends) going to Smitty's once a week. Definitely not at this location! Their cheap, idiotic logic has just lost them much more than that one meal in sales. I hope the waitress conveyed the message that we'll never be coming back!
By the way, I know the owners of this location would rather just have their lounge. Their lack of management skills proves it. The Henderson location is the only location where they never seem to have enough staff on hand for the restaurant - it saves money, right? Where else can you pay for "endless refills" but go all the way to desert without being asked even once if anyone needs refills? There always seems to be an excess of staff in the lounge though. If I have to get up after a while and try to find someone - then the managers are either not good at staffing, or just care about the bottom line. I even had staff neglecting us in the restaurant because they were busy watching "the game" in the lounge. No joke.
This would have been posted sooner, approximately 2-3 weeks sooner, but my wife and I only noticed the Smitty’s Promise of Quality when we went to the Smitty’s Regent Location. We decided then that it was important to inform others of the issues at the Henderson Location. We do not want others to have a bad experience like we did. When you are paying for quality, you should get the quality in the food and service that you are promised.
