Ken's Restaurant

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Winnipeg. They usually have seats available so you don't have to expect any waiting. Servers are friendly, frequently refilling water. Service is pretty fast too. They don't ask you how the food is but I like it that way. Reasonable or large food portions for price. They have big tables too so it should be a good dinner party place too. My only complaint is the neighbor they are in. It's a little scary to visit at night.

I usually order their fried rice and crispy chicken as it's always good. I tried ordrering different from my usual but not really good experience. Chicken balls are not bad but too much breading. The pan fried dimsum is not gonna be a favorite I don't like how they made the wrap it's too thick, oily and taste like flour deep in egg. I ordered the steamed chicken noodle soup this one is really a waste of money. I can't even eat it at all. It's like water with noodles. The noodles taste just like flour I tried putting soy sauce to save the soup but still it's terrible and just went to trash. A little pricey but if I order again I'll just stick to the fried rice and the crispy chicken. Fish fillet too salty.
