Goody's Family Restaurant

First time I've ever been there but I'll be going back. They have the typical menu of burgers, chicken and fries, etc but where they're different than other places is their potato menu. I got the potato with chicken, cheese, butter, sour cream and jalapenos. The potatoes are ginormous!!! It filled the whole plate and I couldn't eat it all!!! I love baked potatoes and this is my new go to place!! Next time I'll be sure to take a picture!

Goody’s has very good food. My family and I have been eating there since I was 16. The chicken strips are my favorite. I also like the chicken filly, buffalo wings, and the large spuds. The breakfast food is also good. I am a VERY picky eater and I can eat almost everything on the menu. They have good gravy biscuits. If you don’t care much for biscuits, they can make you a breakfast sandwich on a bun. They also have good breakfast platters. The family that runs it are very nice. They have a good grilled chicken sandwich, which along with Any other sandwich, you cash get deluxe. That includes fries, slaw, and 2 onion rings. This place is quick not too expensive yummy easy to find (right down the rd n front of Forsyth Hospital) + they have a drive thru (how awesome is that FRFR)! It's like a Greek (Grecian Corner) restaurant meets a fast food restaurant (Cook Out) meets a nicer higher rated place (Jason's Deli). They have salads, soups, Greek seasoned chicken or pork platters, you can even get giant potatoes with many options for toppings similar to Jason's Deli. I bought a chicken &broccoli cheese potato. It was huge & delicious. I ate on that damn thing 4 times! I think Grecian Corner has a little better tasting food & tzaziki sauce but the prices + how quick you receive the food (just about immediately) makes them pretty even in my book. You can eat inside, @ their outside tables, take out or drive thru. They have restrooms you can use + a large handicapped accessible parking lot. Go check them out 1 day you are searching for a new restaurant in Winston to try out.
