Ihop

Enjoyed breakfast today 4/2/22 with husband around 9 am. Staff was short and manager told everyone as they entered she had a 17 yr old new waitress and no one else showed up but the cooks. This is our second visit we're the manager advised us of the problems the restaurant is having upon arrival. That is very unprofessional. Just tell the customer there will be a long wait. The food was good.

A bit of wait when we went it because the girl seating tables also had to run the register and they wanted the ticket split so she got the manager and he didnt know how to to it so he grabbed the waiter to fix it. After finally getting seated looked to be only to wait staff, both with too many tables to take care of. Our waitress was very pleasant when she finally made it to our tables she took our drink order and after making a few rounds returned to take our order but still no drinks. While we were giving our order the manager interrupted her to seat more guests. And was trying to tell her where she could and could not seat them. So we just walked out along with the party of 8 that was waiting on a seat. The staff was doing all they could do and the manager was standing around not willing to give a hand. I seen our waitress waiting on tables, bringing out food, cleaning up tables and trying to seat people all at one time. Personally I think if you had a decent management team you could get and keep help. I told the manager to give the girl help instead of stopping her in the middle of an order. That was disrespectful to my family as we were talking. He said he was doing his job trying to train people

It wasn't busy when my fiancee and I went in. We waited about 10 minutes before a waitress ever came to the table. We waited a pretty good while on the food to come out. When it did my pancakes were cold so I sent them back. I had finished my food before she even came to tell me they would be done soon. Never got refills on our drinks either. If they had been busy I could understand the wait but they weren't busy at all.

I waited an hour to get my food. I walked in even though employees looked at me not a one came to see if I needed any help. My fries were cold and I only work 6 minutes away from IHOP. I was one of the lucky ones to get there food. There was people sitting there waiting at the door way before I came in and still sitting there after I got my food and left. If I had not paid and just went there to eat I would have just went to McDonald's where I could have gotten better and faster service. I understand there is places that are short staffed but when you see someone walk in acknowledge them and see if they need help instead of just looking at them and walking off.

Basically I was bicycling near the IHOP restaurant and past by this restaurant. They have good food I assume it's been at least 20+ yrs. Since I have visited this restaurant, but I go give this establishment a good rating I understand they have the best breakfast and pancakes, you just haven't has a taste of my cooking that all, but they are a establishment that we all respect and patronize here in Winston-Salem NC. If they added fish to their menu then I most definitely would try them out. So long story short I am honored to have them here as a family eatery in our community, peace and love to you all.have a bless day all of you.

We've been waiting an hour and 15 minutes. Still no food. Ran out beverages multiple times. They apologized for the wait because they had "a lot of Door Dash orders". So maybe we should have done Door Dash from home...? We're thinking of trying to order Door Dash delivery to our table. Babies are crying at other tables, I guess they're hungry, too. My dad called the restaurant from our table to tell the manager. Useless. ...So some of our food is up now (one or two plates at a time). Most of our orders are wrong and incomplete, but we don't care because we're very hungry. Oh, and the food is cold... but again, we're hungry. I guess it takes extra time to serve cold food. My nephew ordered bacon, but got sausage. We told the server--they brought him more sausage. Last I checked, over-hard eggs should not be runny. We had to ask the next table to borrow their syrup. We forgot to order extra napkins with our food, but we're managing with they one they gave us. I hear the babies' parents saying the same things I'm writing. I suggest recommending this place to your worst enemies. I wish we could do negative stars. P.S. On they way out, we saw a lot of empty tables, a long line at the door, and IHOP staff outside on a smoke break. This would be hilarious if it weren't so pathetic.

Absolutely loved our waitress Catherine! They definitely need more help( like everyone). Wasn't to impressed with who I'm assuming is the manager ( she came out to give a refund) there was maybe 3 waiters in whole place and they were also hosting. After giving the lady her refund she asked me what I needed and I said to pay and instead of taking my card she yelled at my waitress who was in middle taking an order to come take my money. The food was good and like I mentioned waitress Catherine was amazing!
