Wendy's

They keep putting different types of onions on their sandwiches. You can tell em no onion but they've been 0 for 2 last 2 times I've said no onions. They have a clever social media department making snazzy comebacks all the time. Still doesn't change the fact that robots need to replace the human workers because humans in any food establishment involving fries will dunk them back in the grease and serve them. Yuck. A robot would never do that. Unless programmed to. Oh the future. A wild west to come. Robots programmed to redip fries every X or so times during X amount of days. Just like the claw machine that cheats ya every X amount of plays. Anyway, the actual Wendy was canned from the commercials it appeared years ago because, 🥁 roll, she didn't have the right appearance. Snazzy reply awaits oh so intelligent corporate PR person. Oh how you gain so much ego with the reply to one up a commenter. All in brand awareness and reputation.

After a extremely long wait time in drive-thru, I decided to try again at a different location. Upon arrival, there was one car in line in front of me. After waiting a minute, I started a timer. At the 3 minute mark, the car in front of me pulled away from the order kiosk. I don't know if he had ordered or was just tired of waiting. I pulled up to the kiosk and waited there another 7 minutes. A car that had pulled in behind me left and I kept thinking they would be taking my order any second. Finally, I had waited enough and pulled away from the kiosk. As I rounded the corner, I saw the clerk leaning out the delivery window laughing and talking to someone in a car at the window. This was not the car that had left the ordering location earlier. I leaned out my window and asked if orders were being taken. She said yes to me and then said something to the person in the car at the window. That car pulled forward but didn't leave. When I pulled up to the delivery window, the clerk told me the delay was because she was having to take orders, collect money and give the order to customers. Although from what I saw, she wasn't really taking any orders. I placed my order with her, paid and started waiting for my order. I could clearly see into the restaurant and clearly, they were not busy. After another 2 to 3 minutes, a different clerk brought my order to the window and handed it to me. The chicken nuggets were grossly over cooked to the point of almost being black and they were cold. The bacon on the bacon cheeseburger was also cooked to the same level of doneness as the chicken and was also cold. The fries was the only item that was as they should be - cooked correctly and delivered hot. It took a total of 14 minutes from the time I pulled into the drive-thru lane until I pulled away from the delivery window.

15 minutes in the drive thru for 4 cars because 3 pulled off. Waited at the window for 2 minutes. Food was wrong. Tried to call but it just rang. This franchise currently cannot handle a small drive thru of 6 cars. Imagine a rush. I’m not driving 14 minutes back to sit in the drive thru for God knows how long.

If I could rate this Wendy’s 0 stars, I would. When ordering from the drive thru, we couldn’t understand what was being said to us, so we ended up ordering 5 orders when we tried to order 4, then once we got to the window, we got only 4 orders. We all ordered burgers, and half of us only got nuggets and fries. Terrible service, but the food was fairly good. Will never come again, and I recommend that you don’t.
