This Cafe has been an albany staple for us for so many years. The food is usually amazing but for the last month they have been unable to do chips as something is broken. I would be so much more ok with this if there was any effort made to let people know before they drove half an hour to get there. With all the social media available I shouldn't have to call and check before hand. It's shady and unfair to their customers. With a business as popular and busy as this one I really don't see why whatever the problem is hasn't been fixed.

Waste of time driving out here, we arrived at 1.30pm (closes at 3pm) & there was practically nothing left to eat besides a burger which was recommended after I expressed my dissatisfaction. The young girl behind the counter was nice but the old girl who butted in with her 2cents was rude, blamming the kitchen for not preparing enough sandwiches, rolls ect, saying it's not their fault. Plenty of kitchen hands, but no one interested in making us sandwiches, only burgers. The kids chose a takeaway icecream on the way out, only a few selections left there aswell. Poor management & stock. Run down joint & unfortunately an unpleasant experience.
