Smallcakes Of Alpharetta

We love Smallcakes and they have the BEST cupcakes in the area. I very rarely leave reviews, but that’s how good they are and should get the praise! We have tried many cupcake places and Smallcakes is always the freshest and has the best variety. The cake part is very moist (caring word I know!) and the icing is amazing. I added these photos, but they don’t do them justice because these are the last ones (after we have eaten a few). But try Smallcakes and you will be glad you did.

Service is friendly and the cupcakes are amazing! The lemon and the peanut butter are my favorite from the signature flavors and their daily specials are amazing too. I've been in 3 tines just this week for one of the daily specials and they haven't disappointed yet. I even got an assortment for my birthday and they are doing cupcakes for my daughter's birthday next week. Best cupcakes around!

We have used this company multiple times, for many different events. Unfortunately, our most recent interaction was extremely disappointing. We placed a custom order and sent multiple color references for the cupcake icing color. Our cupcakes were supposed to have pink icing (for a baby shower) and the invoice that we received from smallcakes confirmed that the icing was supposed to be pink. The cupcakes that we received had white icing, not pink, and this was not realized until reaching the venue of the event. We made small cakes aware of their mistake and also sent pictures of the cupcakes we received to show evidence of their error. Melody responded by saying "I can assure you that the cupcakes were pink when they left small cakes Alpharetta." I don't know if she expected us to believe that, but I can assure you that we did not order color-changing icing. Her condescending tone and refusal to correct her mistake were very unprofessional. Melody did not apologize or show an ounce of regret for providing a product that did not adhere to the invoice. After years of patronizing this establishment, we will not return. UPDATE: Melody DID NOT offer a store credit, just repeated that they would not provide a refund. When I inquired about a store credit, Melody said that I would have to return any remaining cupcakes so that she can throw them away and that she would only provide a credit for the number of cupcakes that I returned for her to throw away, despite the fact that I had already paid for them. Further, I never stated that the cupcakes were "beautiful." In addition to the terrible customer service, she is now being dishonest in her response to this review. The bottom line is that we purchased custom cupcakes with a specific color, the invoice included the correct color, and we were provided cupcakes that were the incorrect color. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, Melody responded with arrogance, condescension , and an extremely bad attitude. She had no problem taking my money, but she couldn't care less about providing an incorrect product. We will not be spending any more money here.

Omg!!!! These are literally the best cupcakes in the entire world!!!! Not only are the cupcakes super delicious, they also provided me with excellent customer service at the Alpharetta location! Highly recommended! ***IF YOU HAVEN’T TRIED THE STRAWBERRY ON SATURDAYS THEN YOU’RE MISSING OUT ON LIFE!!!!! Also available for pre-order any day!

The best part of my birthday this year were the surprise cupcakes my husband ordered. He knows I'm a cupcake-aholic so he sought out to get me some really yummy beautiful ones and he found them at Smallcakes! He said they were "special" and he wasn't kidding. Look at these beautiful works of art. Not only were they gorgeous, they tasted just as great as they looked! I was a bit reluctant to eat these works of art... but they smelled heavenly. The cake was perfectly moist. Buttercream icing was awesome. Honestly, this was the best part of my birthday! So thank you Smallcakes for not only the beautiful cupcakes but also for the great customer service too. We'll be back for sure!

It is with great remorse that I leave this terrible review because I really liked the Small Cakes lemon cupcakes in Marietta but I don’t know what happened here at the Alpharetta store. I spent $35 to have 6 Lemon cupcakes delivered and they are horrible borderline nasty. Hostess lemon cupcakes tastes much better than this mess! As a personal trainer, I take my treats very seriously. This Smallcakes is one of my favorite places to grab a treat! The staff is so friendly, the shop is beautiful and clean and the cupcakes are amazing. They’re always fresh, perfectly decorated and there are so many flavor options. Today I got this chocolate cookie cheesecake cupcake and it. is. to. die. for. 10/10 would recommend ☺️💖

The Ransom management at Smallcakes of Alpharetta is just as sweet as the cupcakes served! The custom options are plentiful, the everyday selections are yummy and the store is super clean, with a little trend. It is no secret this family loves the work they're doing. Personally, I appreciate the level of service I receive from this family owned business. Thank you for serving the community with a smile.
