I !M ORIGINALLY FROM CHICAGO BUT NOW LIVE IN OSHKOSH. THERE IS NOTHING AS FAR AS BBQ N SOUL FOOD. BABY LET ME TELL U, IF U DON'T WANNA MAKE A 3 HOUR DRIVE BACK HOME COME HERE TO THE COZY CORNER. THE FOOD WAS GREAT! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GREAT! THE FEEL AND AMBIANCE FANTASTIC! I AM COMING BACK AND FOUND THE BEST SPOT IN APPLETON DOWNTOWN! THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD FOOD!

FANTASTIC Having my relatives and both sides of the family from the South and generations going back in Mississippi and Memphis, I miss the true southern food. First time here, got the 2 meat plate with catfish and sausage and collard greens, hush puppies and corn bread. The collard greens were amazing, the hush puppies were Perfect. Everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back and try more!

My husband and I saw the Cozzy Corner on Wisconsin Foodie and decided to give it a try for dinner. It was very busy granted it was also Mother’s Day: The restaurant also did not take any reservations and parking was hard to find. When we arrived our waitress cleaned a table and sat us immediately. We told her that it was our first time here and she went over the menu with us. Our waitress was very attentive. The other waitress seemed to be all over the place. She was extremely loud and kept telling us that someone she knew was shot and might die. Other families dining it also seemed very displeased with her service as one table even got up and left.She was very unprofessional. We waited quite a while for our food but our waitress kept checking on us and keeping us updated. The restaurant was very busy and they seemed short staffed. I had the chicken and waffles and I was very good . My husband had chicken and ribs and he was very happy. I’d suggest different flavors of ice tea.

The atmosphere was awesome. There were 3 in our party. We tried a variety of items since it was our first visit. The catfish was good as was the red beans and rice. The gumbo was probably the worst I’ve ever had. The frog legs were overcooked but the flavor was good. There were 6 legs. The greens were very salty but cooked well. The chicken, ribs and sausage were average. The banana pudding was good.

Finally tried and I'm sorry I havent been there sooner! I had the ribs and fried chicken with collard greens and beans. It was incredible the ribs were smokey tender perfect next time already torn on what I want. My wife had pulled pork and catfish with yams and mac n cheese she felt the same about her meal, she wants the chicken with pecan waffles when we go back. Prices are cheap in my eyes for the quality southern home cooking you're receiving.
