Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Never been to a Perkins before, be far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Our server Wilson was absolutely amazing, very friendly, fast, and over all enjoyable. I would highly recommend going here, and if you get Wilson as your server please be nice. He is an amazing person and the best server I’ve ever had and probably will ever have.

I'm fully understanding that everywhere is short staffed and I expected to wait for service and for food. However, twice now I have visited, the servers have been rude and dismissive. It seems like the management here is not helpful to their employees not in the kitchen and certainly not on the dining floor. Won't be returning to this location. This place was clearly impacted by Covid no doubt of that, but no attempts have been made at making it any better. There was plenty of staff to serve the 5 tables that were in the restaurant, yet the service was still bad.

Waited an hour and got no food and they expected me to pay for my drinks after wasting an hour of my time with zero explanation. It's a shame these corporate slop houses were allowed to stay in business while killing off thousands of great mom n pop establishments. I was never a fan of Perkins prior and will never set foot in one again.

Like so many restaurants, staff shortages detract from the usually prompt service. That being said, our server was courteous despite working beyond scheduled shift. Free pie Monday; I had banana cream and my wife had lemon meringue. The wait time actually worked well for us,giving us extra time away from our kids and grandchildren.

Small portion of Beef stroganoff, it was cold and sauce tasteless. Chicken noodle soup came after instead of before main course. Others with me also had complaints of food served. Didn't expect much and didn't meet my low expectations. Good note, pie was good. Have to remember this location for breakfast and dessert only. Came in for pie and coffee, most of the tables filled with dirty dishes. No one is bussing or cleaning up. Coffee still good, but pie my wife had bottom crust was not baked through. My pie was okay, however calorie listing in menu was different than in pie case and no one knew why or though to question it. We have given them multiple opportunities, but between the state of the restaurant (cleaniness) and the messed up nutritional information we will give up Perkins and either make desserts at home or through Festival Foods. Feel bad, hard to get decent employees (cooks, bakers, bussers and wait staff), I wonder how much longer they can survive. I hope management steps in before it is too late.
