This was our first time to try Charlie’s! Place is quaint and well cleaned.Food was amazing! You must try their thick queso with flour and corn tortilla chips. The chicken flautas, chili relleno are a must try. Izzy is a very friendly and knowledgeable server. Make sure you are ready for her to talk you into having flan with caramel sauce, it is the best. Izzy you were awesome 😊

I'm on my 5th visit to Charlie's and I have had 5 REALLY good visits. I am hooked on their crispy tacos with Picadillo beef. Crispy shells, ground beef that is not greasy and is full of flavor. Rita's are excellent - wide variety of flavors. My wife loves the queso, and I concur. The salsa is on the spicy side, but is top tier. The best thing here is the service. Everyone cares. That is not common these days, so I commend the managers on a job very well done. Locals or I-20 travellers - visit Chihuahua Charlie's - you won't be disappointed.

First time eating here today. We've needed a good Mexican restaurant in the area for a while. Had the El Presidente for 2. It was excellent, tons of food, delicious, and fresh. Also had the shrimp cocktail, which was delicious. Price is good for what you get. Service was pretty good. Drink prices were competitive. Will return often.

The chip are good cantina chips, light and crisp. The salsa has good flavor and enough heat to be enjoyable. Needs more meat or less puree. They bring a sauce to the table that was described as keeping you hydrated. The rice recipe needs work. To much tomato. The charro beans were wonderful. Enough flavor and heat to be enjoyed. I had the carnita enchiladas and would not recommend them. It seems the fajitas and the street tacos are the house specialties. The queso was decent. Good flavor a little much on the veggies but not enough to ruin the queso. I know queso can be thick or thin on a whim and today it was a bit on the thin side. I enjoy street tacos and will likely give them a try on my next visit.

I really appreciate any business that's willing to fix any error that they might make from drinks to appetizers. This is my preferred mexican restaurant until you either get to near the mall or downtown Fort Worth. For a local place in an area I live in this place has the best service. Suzzie is awesome and the bartender kool aid is the best.

Giving 3 stars because it was the soft opening otherwise it would be 1. Will re review after a few months. Sat for 15+ minutes without drinks or even ever meeting out waitress. Family sat behind us got there 30 minutes after us but got their food 15 minutes before us. Food was decent but one of my wife's enchiladas came out ROCK hard. They replaced it with a new one that barely had filling.
