The Sports Grill

Whenever we sit at a table it always takes a long time to get initial service…way longer than it should be but we are patient because we know the food is so good! Once we actually get service our waitresses are usually very good & attentive after that. If we sit at bar we get helped faster but it’s so smoky at bar. Miss Pam, 1 of the bartenders is my favorite! They have awesome daily specials & the Cajun prime rib bites are amazing too. Few pool tables & a vibe similar to a cheers bar, lots of regulars. Plenty of parking.

Absolutely disgusting treatment. I used to go to this bar every other month when I’m in town because it was one of the few bars that had food I could actually eat . They refused! To take my friends out of country ID because he was here visiting. He showed her three different ID’s mind you from his country and they wouldn’t accept not one! Would not even allow us to eat I was ok without drinking but after driving 40 mins and raving about the fact I could eat here I was not allowed to eat. Never ever in all my years has this ever happened and I have friends who come frequently from other countries who do not walk around with passports. They carry their ID. After verifying with the manager we can not eat there neither. I told the server ok I’ll look for another restaurant because it’s hard for me to just eat :anywhere. The other bartender tells her you tell them they need to leave now! As if we were doing something so terribly bad. Never ever I’ll say it again have I evvver had this experience. And that same bartender had the nerve to say well if your going to have that attitude you don’t need to come back because I just I need you to chill out I’m just looking for some place close by real quick. Keep and mine myself and that same friend have been to other places that were only for 21 and up and no problems with his ID . Disgusting . My favorite place to go now just got taken off my list. It’s a shame to but that is not ok!
